Welcome!
Post 1 / 1

Hey everyone, I'm kinda new to the community but i've been getting all my modding DLs here. Its great to join the group.

Anyway, has anyone thought about a Sin City mod? I've seen alot of talk around the net comparing the two but has anyone tried merging the two. I'd like to do it myself but i'd need help seeing as how i'm extremly new to the modding process.

I was thinking doing the the whole game in black and white of course with extra saturation to give it that extra stark comic book look. i don't know if i could use certain colors in exclusive spots like they did in the movie. I'd like to have all the blood decals be bright white and have super ragdoll physics and a hell of alot of guns to choose from.

Max could be skinned as Hartigan or Dwight and Mona could be Nancy, Gail or Becky.

This is something I'd really like to make a reality so if anyone would like to team up with me or at least give me some pointers, it would be greatly appreciated.

I started one but quickly burned out using Milkshape (I don't have 3dsmax 5.1 and the milkshape to gmax to milkshape to ??? was also too punishing)

With the female models a single vertex shift anywhere usually broke the assignments around the mouth AND with the male model broke the assignments around the knees (which weren't noticeable until the model crouched - wasted days & days & days)

Good luck!
(if the CDCs ever get fixed I'll post what I have for download? *G*)
