This mod basically gives the original game a huge overhaul. It started out as a tweak mod but to many it is now a TC. Or so I've been told. It adds all kinds of music, sounds, ParticleFX, and gameplay enhancements to Max Payne 2. It also makes the game very hard and very realistic as far as damage scales go. You can die with one bullet hit to the head but the game is still very fun and very balanced so don't expect a lot of frustration. You just have to step up your game a little bit. I love MP2 a lot more now that I've added all of this stuff to it. And all of my friends agree. With new elemental attacks, 2 new fighting systems, and a whole lot of amazing eye candy this mod gives Max Payne 2 lovers a new fresh game to play through again. It doesn't just add weapons, a few new animations, or some new skins like most Cinema clones and Cinema itself, it really makes the game different and just so much more fun to play. Plus playing with the Katana fighting system makes the game even harder and more difficult. I mean you have to really step up your game to dodge bullets and get in close enough to use the blade. But when you do it is the most satisfying weapon to use with all the blood shed involved. This kind of stuff really adds a lot of replayability. And don't get me started on the Gunkata system. It seriously kicks a**. I designed each attack according to MP2 map designs so that they are actually efficient and worth using unlike the kata attacks found in that EQ Gunkatas mod. My kata attacks don't look like the traditional Gunkata moves found in Equilibrium and they don't have that form either. Some of them do but most of them don't. Max's kata attacks look like attacks that would be used by a cop if he was a really bad a** gunslinger. It rocks.
Is there any way that I can post my readme here at the forums so you guys can download it and read it?

That sounds amazing, I was really waiting for a mod to come out that would be really challenging and rewarding when pulling off stylise kills!  And I like the sound of the realisticness of it. Can't wait! When can we expect it, like once it's uploaded and all ready to go, I understand if thats like ages away but I can wait because it sounds sweet, any screenies or videos or a site? |

This mod hasn't been released yet. I'm uploading today. I don't know where I'll be uploading but I'll let you know. If I can get it done today then it should be available by the end of this week or early next week. Stay posted.

Thank you. I wish I could upload my readme for you guys to read but I guess it's not possible here. Oh well, you'll get to see for yourself in a few weeks. I'm gonna try to upload at Fileplanet again but I was wondering if there were any special things that I had to do if I'm using a broadband connection? I tried a week ago and it never went through. Am I supposed to use their normal upload page or is there another page that I need to upload through?

Yo VG do you need some help try uploading at filefront it's free and the speeds are much better also i have no fileplanet account plus that's cost money to download their files man think about it first before uploading to fileplanet |

I vote for uploading it to fileshack...or maybe filefront...fileplanet is uber slow and most times it just doesnt work.

Well I think I may have done it. My friend agreed to watch and make sure that my uploads finished tonight at his house. If they did then you will find 2 versions of my MP2 mod here at L4Y within a weeks time. I released the full version, about 550MB, and a light version, which is about 40MB. I also released my Perfected Doom 3 Modification v2.5.5 here aswell. I saw that finish for sure. Look out for it too. I hope my MP2 mods get done. I'm not posting any screenshots here. I'm saving all of the surprises that I can.

When I heard you got banned I was totally confuzzled at why and how I could keep track of stuff so I serched the mod on google...and huzzah I found the the topic that was, strangley enough, about the doom tweak mod that also told me all I needed to know
Anywho, yay and w00ts for all the mod is finally done and its gonna kick major buttocks! |
