Ok i couldnt find anywhere else to post this so here.
I just resecntly restored my computer to factory condition, meaning its just like a bought it. After Installing Dirext X 9.0c updated my vid car to the latest updated every single update from windows update site.
I got this problem that my graphic on games are fussy like squares multi colored and I donno what is not working I tryed different setting and all but im lost.
Specs:
Emachines
Windows XP
Geforce4 MX Int, set on 128MB
AMD Athlon XP 3200+
if ya need anyhting else let me know but without this problem fixed i cant play games anymore  ..... |

Make sure that you are using the propper drivers for your video card.

I alread y did that but ill reinstall to make sure always gotta double cheack  please if anyone else got any ideas PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!! ty 
o btw the download that im using is this http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_81.85.html
i think its the right one its always same thing ive did b4 i restored my comp |

Best thing to do is uninstall your video drivers, then restart your computer, then install your video drivers and restart again. Usually there are allways problems when you reinstall or install new drivers over the old ones. |

didnt work ill try to get back with a picture of its cause if i do a ss itll look fine but i use my dig cam ill show yall abit more why its well CRAP!! |

May I suggest going to an older nVidia driver then?
Do this at your own risk, I can not be held responsible for anything that can happen to your PC.
1. Download this: Nasty File Remover 0.7.2
2. Un-install the nVidia drivers from the add/remove program.
3. When ask if you want to restart, choose not too.
4. Run the program that you downloaded from the first suggestion.
5. Delete all remaining traces of the files. the program will let you do that.
6. Delete you main nVidia folder that is located here: C: Drive. If you don't have the folder then, forget this step.
7. Restart your computer.
8. After the boot up, Windows will ask you if you want to look for the software needed for the video card. What you do is up to you. I would click cancel and then go to:
nVidia
and download an older driver, since the one you installed previously isn't doing the job. May I suggest you install this one:
Version: 61.77
9. Reboot if asked to.
10. Report your results back here.

The only reason I know what it might have been was because I get the same results from the newer version and not only that the newer versions seem to freeze up my keyboard in Red Faction.
The error that you stated, I was only getting when I would turn on my IncrediMail program.
All other games ran fine with the newer drivers, but to tell you the truth, I never noticed the difference, so why even bother to update the drivers if the older ones work just fine.
I forgot to ask, did you do any of the steps I typed?

Because sometimes ya gotta update most the games were screwing up untill i updated my vid card. but i just got a job and start work wednsday and should be lookin for a newer card as well another 512MB RAM.
Ill see about starting poll on come cards i thought of. |

maybe because each game sectiong has a dif color and this thread can be veiwed in any section so if your in RF its red or the main part its blue or wateva.

It might be me, currently I am infected with what seems to be a virus. In other words I have what seems to be THE FLU! I thought the FLU shot was suppose to help prevent this from happening but instead, it gave it to me. I got the shot on Friday(5 days ago) and I started to feel sick two days ago. 5-2 = 3, which is considered to be the amount of days it takes for someone who gets infected to start to notice the symptoms. Damn HMO probably bought regular FLU viruses instead of the Vaccine. |
