I think Stixy0, who purchased the domain and runs the website (I THINK) stopped paying, as the mod has, well, died, because it's leader, Mike, has joined the army and is rarely online to work with the mod anymore.. |

I've never been able to play the new version of Iron sun (.exe file)  But I think it's not that much different..
It the best multiplayer mod I've played on Red Faction.. , good old times.  Sad to hear that, but there wasn't anything going on anyway. Or are they working on a new version again? |

Iron Sun v1.3/v2.0 is currently at a halt since Mike went over seas with the army, I believe. |
