 I AM VERY LOVE MP2, this is the best game for me!!! BUT THE ARE NO NEW MODS TO MANY TIME!!!
I have an idea! It will be better to make mod (MYMATRIX 3)
becouse (MYMATRIX2) was so cool!!!
meke there:
wall run
wall flip
one hander
cartwell
new shootdodge
bulletdodge
bulletstop
marpheus jump
fly
kung-fu
kung-fu with stuff... like in the matrix2 (burly brawn)
and some new stuff...
new levels
cheatau
burly brawn
subway
lobby - full
ruff top (dodge this)
or make Max Payne2 - The Matrix
this is mod...
amm
this is like big game (The Matrix)
begeans... weake up neo..........
then disco...
then office
then (WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD)
then Dojo training with morpeus
then Jump training
then First mission, where a black cat run same 2 times
then construct
then lobby
then ruff top (dodge this)
then hellicopter
then subway
then moment where neo run to the phone
then he will stop bullets
then he will come to the phone, and....
THE ENT
I THING IT WILL BE THE BEST MOd OF THE YEAR!!!

Let me start off, MP2 is an older game which people got bored with and quit modding/mapping for. Just like any older game, it's time for mods has come short. And you can't just ask/demand that anyone make a mod for you, if you want it done, do it yourself. I would suggest you look over some tutorials and such on how to map/mod MP2. |

.... alot of max payne mods are better than THE MATRIX: PATH Of NEO because that game was a buget game... come to think of it all of the max payne mods of the matrix are better than any matrix game made.. |

Well, that's like your personal opinion. It's not a fact.
MP2 continues to be the best third person action game ever seen  , it's just that modding takes a lot of time.
Take a look at 3DRealms forums and you'll see that the mod community is working on the game and there are great projects on the way (Rogue Ops, the upcoming HoM, etc...).
Damn it, just search the web and you'll see people modding really old games like Duke Nukem 3D and Quake 1 (ever heard of "QuakeTerminus.com" ??), I don't think Max Payne 2 is an old game, and if it were, who cares anyways?? it rocks!!

Yea i heard about this mod. Sounds really good and it was also on an article in some magazine. I heard that it might have a gibbing system. The Punisher's gibing system was alright but i want an arm or leg to fly in the air and still have the ragdoll physics as in the leg bending and such lol.  |

Its incredibly time consuming and 3dMax 5.2 is needed to create new characters.
Actually some amazing mods have already been released and others are still being worked on - amazing because the numbers of modders is so small.
Any other Single Player games have a better mod scene? Not that I know of? |

I've got an idea too; maybe try to make a Hitman -mod, or even TC for
MP2, about that game series, Hitman. Dunno, if it'd be enough good to publish, but I'll begin to work on it sometime soon (few months  ), when I first learn a lot more about MaxED. I was thinking of:
- giving Max a new skin, including that black tuxido, red tie, gloves and maybe even a new face (like 47's)
- tweaking the current weapons' skins, and making new weapons too
- maybe a couple of new levels even (if my skills would be enough good  ) |

JimmyCognitti, I was not stating personal opinion, but by facts from gaming communities everywhere. People have rejected MP2 time and time again, I myself like it a lot, I think that it adds a new concept to 3rd person gaming that many others should take on, such as the Ghost Soldiers mod for Half-Life 2, which will be probably the best 3rd person shooter game/mod out when it is complete.
If you want something done that hasn't been done, try taking it on yourself and see if you can get together a few members for your team. Then see what you can produce.
Also, the decent place for MP and MP2 mods, etc. would be Payne Reactor and here(L4Y). |
