Way to go hamsters! However, you should have added some gerbils to the mix since hamsters are nocturnal. And gerbils can go either way. Besides running approx. 5 miles in a night I think your hamsters did a fabulous job. |

We've got 4 groups of hamsters, they work 6 hour shifts.
Each group are kept in their own light controlled room so they all think its day time where they are. This way we keep a sustained power source over a 24 hour period.
As they run around in their wheels they turn dynamo's which generate electricity.
Their incentive to run for 6 hours is because if they dont run, a little door that opens up to let them reach their food doesn't open.
Simple!
Now anyone who believed a word of that should take a good look at themselves. Its all rubbish.
Afterall... everyone knows squirrels are better than hamsters. |

Lots of major server networks today are run by hamster footwork you know. Like the mySQL hamsters of BeyondUnreal. |

But they're more energetic and faster.
... ever seen a squirrel dart from a car? if you harness that energy ... you're set for all your power needs. |

do you have a back up generator powered by the dried hamster exscrement and ex-hamsters? if not, might be a good way to save on hamster costs |

I think I recall google using similar technology, though I have to wonder how well our dear fluffy friends would get on with the pigeons working in the PigeonRank department.
Oh I recommend avoiding the russian hampsters too, their long hair can get knotted up in the wheel... could lead to more downtime... |

Ex-hamsters? How exactly does one become an "ex-hamster"? |

I believe they become ex-hamsters from malnutrition and inability to work anymore ... so they need to be "fired" or another word for fired is "cooked" |
