If you hadn't guessed, yes the server is having a few issues.
Probably by the time I finish typing this it'll have crashed again. It likes to keep me in suspense as just to when it'll fall over each time.

Ok, its in a good mood at the moment.
I know its been doing it for a while, its been me (indirectly) causing the crashes.
Remember the machine was taken offline for a few hours to have its hardware checked out a month or so ago? The result of that was the primary drive got replaced.
All was well and happy in the world after that replacement. The server didn't crash for ages.
Well... 12 hours anyway.
Second hardware check scheduled, one to which I'm still waiting for the results of 3 weeks later. I'm presuming they found nothing as I got nothing from the hosts apart from a promise to tell me what they found after the check.
Right.
Couldn't be bothered to chase them up, Serverbeach are not what they used to be. Taken over by Peer1 and rapidly expanded they've lost 90% of the customer service they once had and cant even seem to notice that it is in fact the secondary drive in the machine that was causing the problems all along.
The secondary drive being the one I'm trying to copy to another machine. Hence the crashing.
I think I've hit double figures for the crashes now. Still... only about 9000 more images to go.  |

Left the server in a stable condition, left the remaining 6k or so files for tomorrow. |

ha, I actually find some new files and the server doesnt want to play ball. Just let us know when everythings working and ill do a small update. the two files are a 'damage and sound minimod' and there has been a new release of HL2 Substance wich is now gold. Im downloading them both to see if theres any problems installing. Byes. |

I seem to be the only one experiencing FTP difficulties 
I have run through the ip addies, SSl, etc. and have everything as it was when I COULD access the file server. It's just a ***** for me for some reason... I don't think it likes me!  |
