Its occurred because posts were made on the old server after the switch. From the moment I posted up saying the switch was in progress the only server that was writing to the correct database was this one. The old server is running off the old database. You would have all had the 'session expired' issue if you were browsing the site when your DNS updated to the new server. The new server wouldn't have had any record of your session so you got the expired message. I'm getting nothing about sessions using Opera, Firefox and IE - currently testing PC ready for its launch so I'm using multiple accounts therefore multiple browsers. No problems... OMG luckily it seems i wasn't logged on when all went to hell with the server pranging itself. anyway i still can't make pages in my cdc and i keep getting an error about my page not containing content. you might remember i posted a forum on this an found that a few people were getting this problem. i pm'd you but didn't get a very difinitive reply a to what was happening. do u know wats up?
