You don't own a chevy dealership by any chance  ... 
I'd never preorder a car ... just seems like its a bad idea ... especially with the american economy on the rocks ... and hasn't chevy and ford been in trouble? 
Im not sure if i like the interior ... the gauge cluster (although classical in nature) doesn't seem to appeal to me  |

This truly is a dream, and will always be 
23K $ would only be 17K Euros, hm. Thats like around 11 fast PCs. LOL (stick some wheels onto them and you have your car, too )
That's really not much Most other new cars start at 25- 35K € (Daimler, BMW, Audi..)
but of course if the car is not useful for shopping and other transportations and just for the fun of it, then yes it's a lot of money.  |

I went to a chevy dealer a couple of days ago, I asked a salesman about the camaro and he told me they ordered 7 4 of which is the RS and 3 is the SS, the salesman told me there is going to be about a 10 grand difference between the RS and SS base price is going to be around 34 grand and the SS if its loaded should run a COOL 45 Grand.. What is the Insurance going to cost a year? Getting back to what this salesman told me all 7 are already sold, people these days may have to much money, one thing for sure they dont have enough brains.. |

So how old are you and what were you doing at the dealership ...
The guy probably lied thinking that you were interested in buying an expensive car ... car dealers like to make cars seem like they are in high demand all the time ... especially trucks recently ...
Its kinda funny, the car dealership nearby me is packed with trucks because they simply can't move them ... but they like to say that they sell quite well |

When I was at the LA Auto Show. You should have heard how many people were saying that it was time to trade in that Dodge Charger and get the New 2010 Chevrolet Camaro.
Some people even asked how to pre-order them. My sister's ex-husband (who I went with) wants to get one from the dealer but modified with a bigger motor. Personally I think he is crazy, a regular SS should be enough for him.
[ IF GM had released the car when it was supposed to. Most people would have bought the Camaro then the Charger. ]
I also saw the challenger. I wasn't too impressed. 
I do like the Camaro and really want to get it but I still have two more years to pay for the Chevrolet Impala. I wouldn't have bought it if they would have released the Camaro in 2008 like they had planned on. When I heard that the Camaro was coming back, it's what I wanted. The last generation of Camaros were gear more towards women... IMO

I almost forgot to post a picture of what they called the "Black Camaro". It's not a dealer options but it was what some custom shop did for them and I like it. It was from the LA Auto show that I went to back in late November 2008.

Now thats nice. when you stated a base price of $22,000 I couldn't believe it.
On todays conversion rates thats: £16,008.97
Thats dead cheap. It used to be around £11,000 which is even cheaper.
The car im gonna be getting isnt costing me a penny lol. Its my first car, getting it from my Bro... not much to look at but for a starter car its not bad...

Well, i find Lamborghini's to be an overused symbol of wealth and power ... and to be honest ... i don't care if everyone in the world thinks my car is a POS as long as i love it ...
I don't really want to be the person who has to declare that they are the best by buying the car that is considered the most wanted by the general public ... i want to be the person who buys the car I want and then flips off the people who don't like it ...
That doesn't mean i wouldn't take the car if it were given to me, but it does mean that i would buy a different car, even though i had enough money for that one ... |

I used to like Lamborghinis when I was a kid and still think they are nice cars. If I had to buy a fast car I'd get the new ZR1 Vette fully capable of spanking a Lamborghini or Ferrari for only $105K. The only Lamboghini of any interest in the world these days is Ken Imhoff's hand made in his own basement.
I asked my wife if I could get a new Camaro and she said no
