Post 5 / 7 Does this happen offten to people or is it just me? Last night while playing CSS I began to start it and when i went to my favorites... THEY WERE GONE!!!!!... but yea that pissed me off a bit and I know that this is a direct problem of the steam updates. There is no way to bring back your favorites, unless you backed up your favorites.list file. When i laod steam and that icon appears bottom right i click servers and there are my favourites. but if you double click on cs 1.6 icon and go servers and select filter they appear. if you load steam by going on css icon and go favourites there are none there. to get your favourites back you load steam by double clicking on cs 1.6 then go to icon bottom right and go servers, change your filter in favourites to all in all catergories. then your favourites sohuld re-appear. you can load your favourites from off the game but try and add them back and they dont save. This is the problem. Load steam correctly and go css and try adding your old favourites and they do NOT save. this needs investigating as i know several other people this has affected.
