Also the name of a song by Mike Jones.

Does everyone remember a time when Levels4You had it's old design and easy feel about it. When Frank was being kicked off of RF staff and being brought back on RF staff over and over again, and Frank had the "I live here" title and everyone was basically spamming to get a higher post count to get a higher title!

Wanted to know if anyone missed those "days".

I was being kicked off?
I was never kicked off!
I left on my own, now maybe they were going to get rid of me and I stepped up before they did it. But if I was getting kicked off, why would they ask me to come back?
If I was that bad, why would they ask me to come back?
If I was...?
sobe that is the second time you mention me getting kick from staff in the public forums? Any reason why you have come to this conclusion? Am I being lied to...

Hey hey Frankenhoser!

Yes I remember the good old days, or at least a fairly close approximation to them. Ahh the forums were lively back then.
Hmmm... there used to be a site that took a snapshot of other websites so you could go back and look at them. I remember it had a really early version of L4Y on it and even a few pages of the old official RF bulletin board. Can't remember what it was called though.

Hey... I just noticed Frank has changed his pic to a boring NCF thingy. Bring back the guy in shorts!!! lol

Hey Kiliad

Yeah I remember the good ole days. Man I remember going onto MSN and seeing people online and organising a map test nearly every week. Ah good times.

Why don't I see the posts from the beast?

I believe His TU was going to be taken off. And apperantly Beatonater can see his posts.

Well I see the TU feature is still as popular as ever LOL.
Hi Beast

I don't quite get the way Hot Topics list works now and I can't see any list of latest map reveiws. I'm not being critical mind you. I've been gone for ages and everything just looks new and being old I don't like that kind of thing LOL.

Yes Beat, testing your maps was always "fun". But have you finished them all yet? <--- OOooh and Mini Oz my only child is still here LOL.

Not only his TU hasn't been taken off but the only way to know what he said is for a staff to quote him.
The feature to check and reveal TUed's posts isn't even implemented into the code.

Thank you Beatonator

Why did Beast get a TU anyway?

Ah yes the good ol' days, when L4Y had a much better template, and had an "Upload via browser" choice when we wanted to put in maps. Ah yes, the days I could have posted maps without having to use FTP. I just hope the CDC's still allow upload via browser, because if it doesn't, you lost a mapping semi-talent and I would be wasting my time here on L4Y.

Can anyone that isn't braindead not pick up on this hint here?

I went to edit my post and well, since you editted it I couldn't take that off.

Anyway, I seem to remember you being on and off RF staff about 3 times, and after that last time, you had reached the "I live here" title. You can edit my post then if I am wrong and take that part off <_<

Also, by clicking Submit I could not make TheBeast's post to appear <_<

Frank has never been kicked off staff. He left a few times of his own free will for one reason or another but he's aways come back

TU is a phrase from the old L4Y codebase, Unified where it stood for troublesome user. Although its no longer called this now the name has stuck with users and staff.

These users are basically users who have shown they couldn't be trusted with the ability to post in the forums or other areas of the site.

For this one very simple reason the code to let staff members approve a post such as Beasts post above has never been even started in this version of the site. There is a list of 'things to do' on the site posted up in the admin forums and it has never featured in any of the revisions of this list.

It is therefore extremely unlikely that it'll be done anytime soon. Afterall, we've gone for the last 6 months without it...
