Hey Daud's. Kinda nice to see a new MP:2 mod maker (even if you are only currently tweaking small things, but still, everyones gotta start somewhere!!)
Im actually considering getting into modding myself.
Ther only thing I have to ask is, how much experience with computers and programming you have had? |

Indeed thats where everyone starts off! Get the feel of the code so to speak! You don't really need any programming experience for modding MP2, you just need to extract the game files and study the scripting. Its fairly simple to get to grips with once you play around. You just need to invest some time doinf this. |

Times what I got! Moneys what I don't got!! (That sounds really cheesy  !!)
I kinda have an idea for a mod's story in my head.
Is it possible to make a mod like HoM or Katana by yourself? (do teams just shorten the amount of time a mod takes to be made?) Also, would these teams live close to eachother or would they just sort stuff out through e-mail e.t.c?

You can work on a TC by yourself but it is allot of hard work if you want it to turn out well. I don't know if you heard of it (most mp2 fans have) but street fighter is just about all done by Aztec. This is probably the best mod that will come out for mp2. (HoM was great and might even turn out to be better but street fighter is an all new game when in HoM you could steel feel that it was done over mp2) Also most mod teams don't live near each other, it's all done over email and suck. But there is no need to get your sites as high as HoM. If you have never modded and you are looking that high you are going to be very disappointed when you find that you can’t do it. (YET) Just start out learning small things. Make tweaks, learn to map, make new skins and so on. (There is no need to release everything you make. It can just be for you and for you to learn by.)
I guess I should comment on this mod to get this back on topic... I thought it was poorly put together and just another crappie tweak mod. |

I think i might make a new topic asking where to start modding, cuz im thinking of starting as well. I'll prolly start the topic in a week or so, cuz i've got things to do and don't want to start getting involved in modding right now. |

The music is pissing me off..it stops dead in the middle of action just when im getting the rythm of killing bad guys..i get shut down just like the music...how sad..fix that in the next version and it will be about 20 times better. |
