Hey, Im getting pissed off with trying to install php nuke.... will someone help me out here!
just want to fiddle around with it.... would it not be working because i only have one MySQL data base and my phpbb forums are using it?
If so do you know of any good PHPbb portal add ons?
Dont say google please because i am looking around myself with no problems... its just always good to hear what people say about stuff rather than reliying on page ranks on google....
Thanks anyway. |

PHP-Nuke requires it's own database
Also, for phpBB, IntegraMOD is an EXCELLENT Portal. It's what http://www.technominal.com uses. It is using just the IM Portal, but you can get the entire IntegraMOD which comes with over 100 preinstalled mods, etc. Including phpBB Security. |

Do a site backup, including database backups
And as for the IM Portal for phpBB, it is a lot easier to make pages imo. Just edit the template portion of it. |

Ok, well wait. Just make a backup of your site, including database backup.
Then, simply download the IM Portal. And install to your current phpBB forums That's what I did for Tech Nominal. |

I tried the ezPortal, ezParticle, phpBB-CMS, etc. and none worked well for me except IM. Whatever works for you though
Good luck |
