I posted a similar topic a long time back, but we have new members since then, plus we all have new dreams. The other reason I posted was that I had a real bizarre one last night. I developed spots on my forehead that turned into lumps. These spread all over my face and even onto my ears. Then suddenly the lumps all inflated and I started to look like the marshmallow man. At one point I could hardly breath because my nose closed up. It as very disturbing but it had a comical twist to it. I was eventually diagnosed as having balloonitis LOL.
The odd things is, when I woke up, my face was quite sore. No lumps though lol.
A few months back I also had a very vivid end of the world type dream.
I was staring up in the sky and saw a huge chuck of ice coming towards the earth. It hit the atmosphere and started to break up but a big lump hut the ground off in the distance. At first there was no sound, but then there was a loud roar and a strong wind (that might have been me cos it was real scary ) and that was followed by a cloud of dust and fire. I woke up after that and had this horrible feeling of dread.
So, anyone else had some crazy dreams lately?

I had one last night. I was a splinter cell, who had to protect a little school girl as she walked through a dark, creepy swamp. Of course she couldn't see me, but there were also six other evil splinter cells (I know they were evil because they had red goggles). Now for any true ninja, this wouldn't be that big of a problem, and it wasn't really because all the evil splinter cells, died gruesome deaths that weren't even caused by me. I saw all their deaths in the same way deaths were shown in Manhunt. One was ripped to shreds by an unbelievable large alligator, that was hiding in a tree! It was apparent he suffered. Another memorable death came by a clumsy splinter cell springing several primitive traps, then ultimately becoming the prey of the natives who lived in the swamp. The little girl was unharmed. |

Ok. I have one that tops everything. It was like an acid trip gone wrong. I walk into this house, then it like falls apart. Then the rubble like melts and forms an apple and like a worm starts zipping through it at like 100 mph and the words "Worm on speed" are like flashing everywhere. Then it like flashes to me in a feild with a cheetah, and I have a shotgun. Instinctivley I fire, but like it shoots little bouncy bbs that dont do anything, and I toss it aside, and the cheetah starts chasing me and like I get close to it and it starts jumping and like trying to fight me. Suddenly, out of nowhere, I just like reach out and punch the cheetah, and my other hand like stabs it with my fingers, and it died.
I woke up with a set of head-phones wrapped around my neck and some Nine Inch Nails in my CD player. Last time I go to bed on an empty stomach.
Then there was the dream where I was like swimming through a strain of like molecules and was shooting submarines that where also cruising through them and stuff. That one made no sense whatsoever.
*Edit* Worm on speed is now my nickname on a few things. lol. weird dreams give great inspiration. |

I usually don't remember my dreams... but hears a couple I kinda remember...
One dream was I was in some sort of futeristic hotel thingy and everything was nice outside and inside. Then I went to sleep and I think I was alseep for a few days for some reason and when I woke up the hotel was all like dirty and stuff and there was big bowls of urin infront of like every other room and I was walking down the hall and some of the bowls were tipped over or splattered against the wall then continued walking and there was like a crazy elevator that was going up and down really fast so people had to like jump into it to use it. Then I continued walking and ended up in this big church like part to the hotel and all the seats were on like an incline like u would see in an auditorium or something.. u know where the seat behind is higher then the one in the front and they keep going higher and higher.. anyway there was this giant window behind the alter area of this church thingy that had like a view of the city and we were high up so you could see like the whole city and I looked out the window and everything was like brown and distroyed and in ruins and you could hear people wispering all over this church thingy, prayers and you could hear some people wispering "There not comming back for us..." So I walked up to some guy that was just sitting there and staring out the window and asked, "What happened?!?"
Then my alarm went off and I woke up so I didnt get to find out what happened.
Another dream I had but remember less was I was in the future again and this time I lived in a big tall appartment thingy that had a balcony and if u were on it and looked down it was extremely high up and it had a good view of the futeristic city... anyway suddenly I heard the nuclear explosion alarm.. u know that long alarm thingy thats like weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeoooououuuuuuuuuuuuuu.. and everyone in the apartment thingy ran to their balconys and you could hear all of them screaming and stuff then I heard a loud BOOM! and in the middle of the city which was quite far away u could see a big explosion and mushroom cloud then you could see a wave flatening the city and heading towards my appartment thingy and after a few min it looked like it was about to hit me so I brased myself for death but the wave suddenly stopped and just missed my appartment building thingy.. but suddenly these little monster like creatures started like comming out of nowhere and started attacking the rest of the survivors...
There was more before where I started and more after but I forget the rest...
Anyway those are 2 dreams I can kinda remember... I have lots like em but I dont remember. as soon as I wake up I usually forget the dream...
Theres probably tons of typos in this post but I just typed it quickly and I'm too lazy to check it over... |

I had a dream that I was staff at levels4you.com and that everybody got along. Too bad it was just a dream. 
I had a dream where I was just a little...and I was getting chased by...Sucks when you wake up and you only remember part of the dream. |

I had a dream earlier this week where i was being hunted down by someone (i don't remember who) almost as if it was a hitperson. Then i met up with 5 other people who were also being hunted down by the same person. So i decided we should try to gang up on the hit person and fight back. So we travel as a group trying to find him.
We finally get him cornered him in a feild where we had 2 by 4s with nails and crowbars and were getting ready to beat the crap out of him. Then he said something like (i don't remember exactly what)"You really don't understand do you? Charge!" and all of a sudden an army of polar bears and poodles popped litterally out of the ground surrounding us looking pretty mean  . So i decide to "cheese it"(run for those who don't know what "cheese it" is) and head for the gate at edge of the feild to get out of there. Then one of the poodles jump in front of me, so i slugged the thing and kept running, then a polar bear jumped in front of me ... and decided i wasn't going to fight that so ran around it.
After i had got to the gate and jumped over it, i began running down the road ... with the wicked witch of the east from the Wizard of OZ chasing me  (no idea where she came from)! so i keep running until i reach a railroad crossing. where i had planned to jump on to the moving train (BTW these trains were booking it  ) and i missed the train. but to my luck a second one was coming right behind it, but i missed that too. then a third one came along so i jumped out and grabbed a bar on one of the boxcars (kinda like that one narcoleptic character did on "rat race" the movie) and made it. Then i climbed to the engine of the train and told the conductor "Were going to need more reinforcements ..." .
then i don't remember what happended after that.
If you think thats funny you should here the albino cat "series" of dreams ... |

I remember having a recurring dream when I was about nine. In this dream, I died and kept dying but it was always unclear to me how I was dying. It was absolutely terrifying, because I would always suffer, I think I was being crushed or burned. The dream also had a very chaotic or apocalypic atmosphere, as if I was trying to prevent my death from happening, but I didn't have any control over it, so I was overwhelmed every time with a sense of helplessness. Which I'm sure is the last thing anyone wants to feel before dying. |

I used to have a recurring nightmare when I was a kid. It's a little too abstract to bother going into here but it was very disturbing.
Later in life I kinda worked out what it meant but that was even more disturbing.
One type of dream that I used to have a lot was a dream inside a dream. I would have a nightmare and wake up, calm down, get myself together and realise there was music playing. Usually it was Scorpions - Wind of Change. If you've ever heard the song you'll know why it's so disturbing. I'd then realise I was still asleep and wake up in a cold sweat.
It could be that my dreams were influenced by the amount of chemicals I regularly tried to kill my brain with but it could be that German rock music is bad enough to give anybody nightmares.
Dreaming that you’ve had a bad dream is kinda… not nice. |

Its fairly disturing just reading about some of those dreams.
There seem to be a lot of references to games in there. Some believe dreams are the way the brain processes memories accumulated that day and also a way of dealing with stress and conflict. I suppose incorporating violent games into your own dreams makes some sense if that's the case. The brain probably uses things we are most familiar with to do all the processing.
But what about pleasant dreams?
I've had a few spectacular ones that I wish never ended like finding a big chest full of treasure and discovering a secret formula for a superconductive alloy that would have made me millions LOL. When I woke up from that one I could only remember half of the formula!  |

when i was 4-6 i kept having this dream at least once a week, and it was that these "metal skeletons" busted through my wall and took me. They used children and fused them with pop cans to make deformed metal people... i stoped having this dream when i was about 7...
Its weird, because at this time i hadnt even seen terminator.... But when i watched it for the first time, it really creaped me out because i kept saying "I dreamt that!"
Now let the "Goober is a nut" posts come in... i dont care, i havent talked about this dream for more than 7 years.... |
