yeah the first one creeped me out it seemed like some sort of weird horror movie, but the second time i picked up the cat and threw it as hard as i could at a tree (which i still remeber vividly, like throwing a ragdoll at a wall as hard as you can) so i think were even ... never had that dream ever again, i think hes afraid of me now.

I dont know if it matters, if you add the colour to the dream, or just dream in colour.

surely if its all made up there is no reason why your brain cant do colour.

Anyway, most of what we see in our peripheral vision while concious is actually in low fidelity B&W, your brain carefully re-engineers what it remembered seeing. That coke can sitting on your desk just to your right... is just a figment of your imagination, until you look within 15 degrees of it!! (or something like that, think i read it in siggraph IIRC)

You just have to realise the truth, there is no can...

Most of my dreams are in faded colour, most colourful one I ever had was when a nuke went off and it was a really nice day but then the nuke went off and everyone died

I can also control my dreams, once I was in full control, it was like being awake but.. not.. it was cool, I controlled what other people did. I think you can guess what I made certain people do...

So like this

or just

some what, its hard to describe ... the cat was albino (pink eyes white skin) and had no hair so it was a hairless white cat with redish pinkish eyes. Its the way it looked at you is the hardest thing to describe unless you've experienced it. It's like when you look at qan animal and it is looking right back at you like its getting ready to attack you ...

ohh now i remember 1. would get this 1 every now and again of me being in sessimy street (cant spell) and i would hate big bird so much that he would roflamo! give me a hart atack (w.t.f ) but the weird thing was that that i could exit the dream when ever i wanted, as would guess i would go out of it as soon as got this dream (ie. see BB ) even when the dream just started i would go " aahh not this again, ffs not him again, I want to wake up" then i would wake up and in the dream i was totaly aware that it was a dream and could go in or out when ever, even once changed to another dream, a better 1 lol

I had a great one a year or so ago when i was living in colchester, I was dreaming that the country was being nuclear bombed, then I woke up, the problem with that was I had left the curtains open that night and got blinded by the sun as I opened my eyes, honest to god I thought it was real, have never felt so unbelieveably terrified in all my life, thought that my sister was going to be dead and id never see my niece (she was pregnant at the time, in fact i had a lot of bad dreams about that time, guess I was really worried about her ), my chest felt really wierd just sort of empty and still.. took me a while to realise that it wasnt real, was still shaking as i was walking down stairs to get breakfast...

I still remember MSM laughing...

LOL... I remember that actually!

That was funny.

I dont seem to dream... maybe one or twice I can remeber dreaming something but not often!

Alright I love rag-doll physics.

Have any of you ever played so much videogames that you dream about them? All I remember from my dream was catching a fist and punching someone out that had a baton, then I was shot in the chest and woke up.

I had this messed up dream about a year ago. I still remember it like it was yesterday. It is kind of interesting because you can see all the bits and pieces from real life, such as people/places, are used as a basis to the dream. Then my brain just messed it all up and it gets carried away.

First it all started out with me having to go up this obstacle course. The person making me do this was my track coach from high school. Now the obstacle at first was that giant mountain the kids had to climb at the end of and old show on Nikelodeon(sp?) called "Guts." Thats old school enough as it is. Anyways at first it was just me trying to get to the top of this mountain first, but after a bit I noticed i was racing other kids of whom I didn't know. After awhile the mountain slowly turned into a REAL mountain that would of takin hours to reach the top and at the top was a giant evil looking fortress/castle. Some of the kids I were racing with eventaully got killed off by random booby traps and obstacles LOL. This is where my whole dream pretty much changed. Pretty soon I made it a good portion up the cliff and I ran into this old war veteran guy who was OWNING lots and lots of Koreans with a large machine gun. I don't remember the exact dialogue we spoke but it resulted in me getting a machine gun and doing the same . After all the koreans were dealt with he gave me orders to take over the fortress that was at the top of the mountain. I made my way up the hill, which now had a jungle/aztec setting, when I got in a fight with those plants from Super Mario Bros. that come out of the pipes. They were no normal Super Bros. plants, these ones threw "vine-like boomerangs." They threw a few of these at me and I died, I can't remember but I think I got decapitated. Anyways, the "view" in my dream turned to third person and I saw my body fall over and fall down the hill a bit with ragdoll physics. Then I respawned next to the old war veteran and thats when I woke up. At this point I would like to congratulate anyone who read my dream.

I remember one dream which i almost realized was just a dream but some character convinced me it was real ... (my subconscience fooled me) i was at my house, but everthing else was different like my yard was a huge western scene and i didn't recognize anybody walking around my yard, then it dawned on me "Something looks out of place ... this isn't right" (ive noticed im not bright in my dreams ) but someone looked at me with a somewhat surprized look and told me "this is your house, your parents remodeled" ... and i bought it .

I also had a dream i was starting on my basketball team (i am on varstiy but I am not a starter) and i was doing incredibly well. The whole crowd was chanting my name ... Then i woke up and felt somewhat depressed

Has anyone ever had a dream that started out from something you were thinking about before you fell asleep?
That's happened to me a lot of times. Its like you keep thinking about things as you gradually fall unconscious and the thoughts become a dream.
Some people claim they can choose their dream ahead of time. I guess its not impossible.
That might be an interesting experiment for us all to try. If we picked a topic and decided that's what we were going to dream about and see how many people are successful. We should all pick the same thing though. Good idea? Crap idea?

I remember one very vividly now that really messed with me mentally. Seriously, I couldnt go to school that day because I was so horribly freaked out. I was about 13 at the time. I fell asleep and like had this dream that I woke up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. I was walking down the hall to my bathroom, when I saw a bright light outside. I ran outside to check it, and I saw green glowing things coming after me (Like glow sticks, but i wasnt sure what). Instinctivly, I ran, but only made it a few feet before a searing pain ripped through my head, and I was "asleep" again. I woke up in like a space ship thing, in your standard alien disection sceen. Skeletal grey men standing around, doing whatever to me. Only, they were doing surgery on me. They were taking muscles out of my leg, and I screamed in pain. I thrashed about, and stabbed one of them in the neck. I picked up something else and swung it around, and bashed another's head it. They tried to fight back, but I ran now. But my one leg wouldnt work, and it was just dragging along. I drug myself to a door, started hitting buttons, and it opened. I was about ready to jump out when one of them shot a hole in my chest, and I die, with them encircling me again, with that sever sense of helplessness.

I woke up with a bloody nose, a headache, and was so dizzy I could barely get out of bed. My entire bedsheets were drenched in an unimaginable amount of sweat, and I was dehydrated. I was to shakey, and have basically shivering. My leg also has a pain like throbbing through it, and it hurt to walk. I basically sat at the edge of my bed and litterly bawled for half an hour. The dream was still fresh in my mind, and it scared the living piss out of me. Still thinking of that whole situation brings tears to my eyes, as it was extremly traumatizing. I dont think anything in my life has scared me as much as that had.

Anyways, away from my sob fest up there...DVL_IAC, your post-apocolyptic dreams there are might I say, awesome. Not in a traditional sense, but, in a way that I could base an extremly awesome story around em. Im a good writer, and those two things combined are are practically screaming to be made into something good. Without the urine pans though...Im sure even in the future people can piss in a hole in the ground, or even out a window...

Yikes! komodo, thats a real bed stainer of a dream!
I've had an alien encounter dream but not that severe.
My aliens were telepathic and used that to paralyse me so I couldn't run away. I figured two could play at that game and started thinking painful thoughts directed at them. They freaked out, got back in their saucer and dissapeared.
