After watching Signs on tv tonight, this thought came to me. Well of course I seen other alien movies but I just thought that maybe i should make a thread about aliens.....

I believe that there are other living things in one of the other BILLIONS of universes. They may not be more intelligent than we are, but assuming their planet at least closely resembles ours, and is a similar distance away from their sun (or however far away they must be to be able to live), I think the universal laws of physics would work and be applicable to their planet. Since I can trust physics to work, their planet and any other planet with circumstances relating to our planet, would progress as easily as ours has, developing life.
Anyone who doesn't believe beings on other planets can be smarter than we are, ARE themselves those aliens trying to disprove their existence to us.
Or for the Creationist folks, God HAS given up on our planet and he has decided to try it differently on another planet. |
I TOLD YOU I'D SHOOT!
BUT YOU DIDN'T BELIEVE ME!
WHY DIDN'T YOU BELIEVE ME?! |

I believe there are other intelligent life forms on other planets.

I can offer you indiputable proof of the existance of aliens of higher intellegence than us.
The proof is that there is no way that George Bush can be the most powerful man in the universe.... |

Good argument. I now have no doubt what so ever.
That means that the apes are really just aliens watching us, studying us waiting for the right time to attack and take over earth
sounds like a good plot for a movie actually |

I believe in Aliens... i live with one
Well with the infinite amount of universe\'s, there has to be at least 1 planet that is home to other beings either like us, or with big heads and big black eyes. With all the information around nowadays about Aliens, there is no way you can deny that there are other living beings out there. |

What the question should be is,
Do you believe that there is, somewhere on earth, evidence of aliens existence?
I reckon there is, if we could detect life or fledgling civilisations on other planets and had the capabilities to get there, we would be spying on them for sure! And televising it on pay per view!
You have to agree that if we had the capability and found planets capable of supporting life that we would try and seed life on those planets, just to see what happens!
In reality its quite possible that we are the results of such experiments! We could be the million year old decendents of some alien scientists phlegm! Nice |

Out of the trillions of other planets, there should be at least one, other that the rock we are sitting on now, that has life. |

yeah, it has to be true that we are not alone ...
there is an infinite amount of space out there, to think we are the only ones in it is very narrow minded.
there just simply has to be others out there.
the real question is, will we ever run into each other ...
and to answer that you have to ask: Just how rare is life in the universe? ... That my freinds, is the real question.
I do not belive UFO's are actual aliens though ... i find it hard to belive that they would come billions of miles to probe us . I figure if they could travel that far, they probably would have better way to examine humans other than kidnapping them and probing them. Unless they really aren't studying us but are really just a group of perverted aliens ...

easy, things can't live on jupiter ...
inhabitable means things can't live there ... habitable means things can live there. |

What would Nasa do?
* Fly round them,
* Crash into them,
* Land a billion dollar luna rover with a 'Prehensile Extensible Nobbly Invasive Sensor' to probe rocks and unsuspecting aliens!
* Then start returning samples,
* Then aim to move in in about 8 years time, |

But then again NASA can't travel billions of miles like the aliens but im sure they would do the probing if they had the chance

Ohh the mysterys you can solve by probing rectums ... (this is sarcasm, so don't get any ideas ) |

I do really think that secretly, NASA has sent probes to other planets, probably missiles orbiting the earth too...
