What if we are dreaming right now and when we die we just wake up..
or When we die we wake up then dream another life time and so on... |

Yes i belive i have heard that theory as well, it has to do with higher consciousness, when you sleep you are less conscious than you are awake, so it is possible we are still in a sub-level of consiousness still in a dream. so when we die we just wake up realizing that its all a lie. But this theory is dangerous to belive in. Because people conlcude if they are in a dream or if they are the only real thing in their universe, they will think the earth is their playground and they should do whatever they want, (which includes breaking the law) so dwellling on this theory can in danger those around you.
Though if this were true we are incredibly bright in our true consciousness.
I guess if you had that high of a consciousness you could be dreaming as a group through telepathy ... think giant Lan party or the matrix so by doing anything you want in this consciousness you could be hurting those around you, whether they are asleep or at your their full consiousness so its just not worth risking hurting others at your own expense.

Just a little something on the Big Bag theory.
For a long time scientists thought eveything came from nothing in the BB, but now they are starting to think that there must have been something before it to initiate the explosion. They keep having to go back further and further to try and find an explanation.
One guy believes that two older universes collided, and some of the dimensions that they were made up of split off to form our universe.
He thinks that the connection is still there with the older universes and may explain why gravity is so weak compared to the other forces in the universe like electic and magnetic fields. The little particles called gravitons which are supposed to cause gravity may leak off into the other universes so that in effect they are diluted down whereas that doesn't happen for electric and magnetic fields.
Wierd stuff these guys come up with. They can't prove any of it of course, so I think that gives them a license to make up any old stuff they want LOL. |

yeah, thats why they call it theory, they can never prove it ... its just an attempt to explain the workings of something.

Obviously i have too much time thinking to myself or i space off in class too often because ive either heard all these theorys or thought about them.
except some of goober's ... some of those are really off the wall.
Well thinking about the meaning of things has helped me alot in english 101 . Im probably one of the few in my class who can pick up the symbolism or meaning of the story the first time i read it without notes or teachers telling you what it means ... usually, some are really off the wall though ... like goobers .
I also the only one who expanded the quadratic equation forumla to 3 x's too in my spare time at math class.
Its amazing how bad i am at mediocre math but how good i am at advanced mathmatical concepts . |

I wish I had paid more attention in maths classes, I was invariably day dreaming. I managed to do my entire A-Level course without handing in about 90% of my homework. though I did get a 3.5hr saturday detention for the priviledge. they gave up asking for it after that, they decided nothing was going to work.
Still sort of passed, i knew my stuff, just not motivated. Was convinced that the only people who needed to know it was maths teachers. Now I find i use pretty much all of it at work. Quaternions are handy, and polynomials and integration are everywhere. Sad sad sad...
Back to the topic, what if by dreaming we create a universe and when we wake up, it continues to exist in some far off higher dimension.. What if everytyhing you've ever thought of, at that exact moment, came into existence somewhere out there.
I knew that x-files box set was going to be bad for my health. |

Sometimes I think we're alone in the universe, and sometimes I think we're not. In either case the idea is quite staggering. -Arthur C Clarke
If we are alone, it would be terrifying that no other planet would be sufficiently habitable for life to occur (it's very easy to create life if the planet would support it). If we aren't alone, we must wonder if the aliens we encounter are conquerors or isolationists. If they're isolationists, we must then ask ourselves "do we want to conquer them?". From there, we must wonder "why conquer them?". And so forth.
The worst possible thing, however, is not encountering a conqueroring race, but one that simply eradicates beings that inhibit it's own growth. Of course, we do the same thing (with bateria and viruses) |

Well the past few years i have actually been looking into Aliens etc.. and came across something that shocked me quite a bit.
We were created by Alien beings using their DNA. TBH this is more believable than GOD and the soup theory. (Sorry if this conflicts with peoples beliefs)
Read this... and you might see why ALIEN THEORY

If there is life on other planets, I hope they're not as stupid as the aliens from Signs.
If they were deathly 'allergic' to water, why invade a planet that is covered in mostly water? |

If it does what it did to them, they probably have no water on their planet, so they have no concept of it... they didnt know what it is and what it did to them. |
