Ive been wondering about this for quite long. Now i just gotta ask: About that spin reload animation of Max, i just can't figure out how he manage to replace the clips with that move. Ive seen actions that looked like it in movies but they weren't reloading, they were just dodging or somethin.. is it even possible in real life? Is this move based from someone or something or is it only Rockstargame's imagination? explain pls...

it is basically just there to look cool...

very similiar to moves basically pioneered by Chow Yun-Fat in his various "Gun Fu" flicks...

...so no, you can't replace clips just by spinning with your arms out...
or at least i'm fairly certain you cant

Actually, I haven't played MP2 in a while now, but if I remember correctly, immediately after the spin and dropping of current mag. during spin, he quickly moves his arms click to his waist(belt or so) and pulls arms back out to shoot.

This would show, the speed shooter type ammo reload type deals.

perhaps it's a different version or something, but when i spin-reload...his arms are fully outstretched and when he stops spinning his hands meet and are now pointed in the same direction again, fully extended still...
and ready to immeadiately fire off more rounds...

maybe he's just got some auto reloader thingy up his sleeves or something

If u look at it intently, there's no way u can make sense of the reloading action. The handguns reloading is the most confusing as the arms are stretched apart all the time.

But i think it has some real reloading action, from somewhere, i think, that mp2 team based upon. otherwise its just utter nonsense.

Right after the spin he reloads his gun. when his arm meets after the spin they meet and u see him click new mags in the gun

...i am in no way a munitions expert, but simply clicking the butts of two pistols together does not replace their magazines...

...it might get you home...if you're clicking two ruby slippers that is...

but it will not reload two pistols

lol yeah the relaod doesnt make sense at all. But then again... When Max Payne reloads normaly all he does is click his guns together anyway - then bullet cases just happen to fall out somehow. wHEN HE SPINS HE JUST DOES A SPIN AND THEN THE SAME THING ANWAY! lol i never actualy thought about how reatarded it was!

Lol when Max Payne 2 first came out, my friend would always ask me about the spin reload.

He's like, "How the hell can Max reload by spinning???? I pause the game frame by frame and I still dont get it!!!"

I just say, "Because he's Max Payne"

And to note that the game is giving emphasis on this animation coz IT IS THE OPENING MOVIE OF THE GAME and nothing else unlike mp1.

And i thought i was alone on this one. ha ha.

Does anyone here know how to get rid of it for a dinky mod im working on. I have no idea where it is in the config files. Or is it an animation file that needs replacing with something else or nothing?

Chow Yun-Fat is getting his own nextgen-game called Stranglehold. It will look alot like Max Payne in gameplay(better), and just ten million times the graphics. And judging by Strangleholds trailers, Max Payne 3 better rock our socks, underwear and bras off!!!

google stranglehold and check it out for yourself.

And yes this is a warning to max payne 3 developers, you BETTER MAKE THIS A not just good, BUT AWESOME, GREAT, SPECTACULAR, FAN-FRICKIN-TASTIC game-experience... or I'll kick yo CENSORED

You might even want to check out Elements of Style mod to get some inspiration
