Yeah I know it looks absolutely amazing! http://media.xbox360.ign.com/media/748/748381/vids_1.html
Those are the trailors if anyone wanted them. Looks soooo good - hope they bring it to the PC but they probably won't. Ah well then I will just have to wait for Max Payne3!

Well John Woo is basically the king of Slo-Mo
His movie "Hard Boiled" greatly inspired the first Max Payne. If you watch the movie, you can identity some death scenes that were used for Max Payne's death animations. One of them is the grenade explosion death.
Hard Boiled also inspired Max Payne's "bullet-time" dive.
So umm...yea...Max Payne 3 better deliver

Welcome! Post 5 / 7
well, john woo is not the king slo-mo
Woo's earlier movies (hard boiled, the Killer, a better tomorrow) have no slo-mo. only lunatics with lots of guns blowing the CENSORED out of everything and never getting hit.
Later movies (face/off) that are all hollywood-ized and CENSORED ty had a little bit of slo-mo.

Keh? John Woo is "DA MAN", when it comes to slo-mo. He is a pro at making action-sequences that involves slomo, he's not the inventor.

Yeah and I thought FaceOff was pretty fuckin sweet. Sure it may have been cheesy but it was generaly just realy enjoyable.
Man Stranglehold looks great! So free-moving. However, did anyone think the gun blasts looked pretty lame in slow mo - you could see them through his head?
