Quoting videogames voters network about page | The Network opposes efforts to regulate the content of entertainment media, including proposals to criminalize the sale of certain games to minors, or regulate video games differently from movies, music, books, and other media. | Videogame voters.
WTH? Thats total BS if they want to regulate videogames like that. As if the MSRB ratings weren't enough. |

I'm glad all music, movies and games are all covered under one rating system here. Although having said that it is illegal to sell restricted music, movies and games to minors. But I highly doubt it is strictly enforced as you only ever get asked for ID if you look younger than you are. I'm only 18 and I haven't been asked for ID when buying restricted items in the last year.
How many different systems does the States have now for rating content of music, movies, games and books? (books?? CENSORED ?) |

If they are going to make it illegal to sell "mature" media to minors, it should be all media. The idea of singling out games from music and movies is more/less and attempt for some politician to look good to the lazy parents.
That being said, I don't believe there should be any laws about selling movies, music and games to minors. Make the parents more responsible.
It seems like the government is doing more and more "for the children" and, in turn, taking the choice away from the parent. Is this their way of lulling us into a sense of security as the dive deeper and deeper into our personal lives? |

Good parenting and proper communication between kids and parents are the keys to keeping your kids safe from "bad" things like video games, movies and music. And what exactly can be consider "mature"? Something that seems inappropriate for entertainment purposes can be considered quite acceptable when used for informational purposes. |

Exactally, im going 3D and when im modeling a human, its always better to model them nude and then add clothes. I dont go into detail on "questionable parts" though, because it will be covered up by the clothes, just a general outline... but those same refrence images, are of nude people, they are for educational purposes. Im sure my parents wouldnt let me have them if they were for entertainment... |
