http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813135222??
What do you mean it "doesn't work"? Does it start up? Does it come to the boot screen?
We need a bit more info on this please
Also, how many sticks of RAM are you using?

It has power to the processor fan and the keyboard blinks when the power button is pressed but nothing on the screen. And yes, that is my motherboard. I only have one stick of RAM. A Samsung 256MB stick. |

As said above, do you hear any beeps when it starts up?
(You need your PC Speaker hooked up to the mobo to be able to hear the beeps...) |

I have no PC speaker. I have also tried hooking up my monitor to the onboard Videocard and a PCI video card. Still nothing. |

Without that PC speaker, you can't hear the beeps. The beeps can signify the issue which can be found in your mobo manual.
I suggest you hook one up. It's just a small speaker that goes inside the case. |

I know what a PC speaker is, but there is no specification in the manual that tells you where to plug a PC speaker in. |

Should be the 4pronged one if I'm not mistaken. But yea, look for a label, "spkr", or something similar. |

Everything is a number on the board and a lable in the manual. I can't find anything about a speaker though. |

it should eb a wire coming from the actual case.. check to make sure nothing is coming from the front panel (usually behind the hdd). cases usually have a speaker in them for beeps, and sometimes full sound capabilities. |

Nope, this case has no speaker or wire running to where hdd LED and power SW would normally hook up. |

its possible you got a defective mobo ... happens everyonce in a while ... let me guess ... you didn't ground yourself out (that's the lamest excuse ever BTW ...unless you rub it against a pillow, blanket or carpet or something )
I would have the place where you bought it from replace it (they will ask you if you had grounded yourself out though ... )
yes, the beeps can signify right away if there is a problem or not usualy if the motherboard does not beep when it is booted it means there is a problem, if it does it means it is A-OK ...
Your case doesn't come with a speaker? ... did you make it or something.
i would just get out the old soldering iron and make one for it if thats the case ... im better at rigging electronics than programming . |

Nope it didn't and yes I am in the process of building my own. Grounding yourself is dumb, the military has choppers immune to EMPs and we are still dealing with static. Kinda pathetic if you ask me. |

And if you don't think it's true, then walk around some carpet in some socks for a bit, then just openly touch a stick or RAM
Ground yourself by wearing a metallic object(watch, etc.), touching the metal part of the PC case, or other methods(static-free wrist bands). |
