Me and my dad were curious to try out Windows Vista (the beta)...
The beta version is available but only if you buy it ... I can't remember the price  ... Anyways, i was wondering if i should go ahead and get it with my dad and i could do a review for it on L4Y? My dad and i were debating it because his job is closely tied to computers and he probably should get a head start learning the new OS. I, however, am just curious to see what all it can do (check out new features, and see if it can still run RF  )
So the question is ...
Should me and my dad go ahead and buy it, and ill give a review here on L4Y? or should i not buy it ...  |

Whilst it sounds very interesting, the concept of paying for beta software is anathema to me. |

Look in the right places and you wont have to pay for it.

U cant buy Vista yet u can only get it u work for a company like ATI,Nvidia, Creative and other software companies, but vista isnt recommended as it still got lots of bugs, and yes RF still works on it |

actually you would pay for the beta ... but when the real full version comes out you can send in a coupon or something to get it for free ...
and no warlord it is not just available to software companies ... its available to businesses  , i found a quote and a site of where you can get it but i don't know where it is right now  , if i find it i will post it ... |

Let the professionals do the beta testing. Why put yourself through all the pain of having to reformat your hard drive when you are not happy with it?

Actually, I tested it out a while back. I dunno if my rig would even run the beta though... With that Aero theme anyway..
The rig I tested it on I was borrowing. |
