I am reading the other pages, but I've yet to find it. There -are- 23 pages, after all, and I'm a slow reader and needed to get to bed. I'll go back through the pages again, see if I can find it, though.

EDIT: And there I go finding it on the second page, when I started from the end and read backward, assuming if there was a bug fix I'd be more likely to find it at the end. Oh well. Not sure which of the settings, specifically, causes the crash, but at least now it runs.

It's really pretty, but it wants more ram than I have, I think, lots of locking up while it loads stuff up.. but it's worth it, methinks.

Ayo, what do you guys think about a customizable character.

I want to make it so that you can easily replace your character with different player models without decompiling the mod.

I also want to make it so that you can customize every move (from kungfu moves to different shootdodges). Didn't try it yet but it should work. Once again do all of this without decompiling the mod. Because I have some animations and stuff that I had since b4 I released EOS 1.0 and I want to use them .

I was coding it in my mind during church because I couldn't understand what my priest was saying . For some reason I get all of my EOS ideas while inside church .

Does anyone know any GUI makers to just simply move files around when you click a button?

For example, if I click a button, i would move the file to a certain folder?

I definitely like that idea, at the very least, being abele to pick from a few player models without disassembling the mod would be nice. I like the model you have in there but I'm sure it might be fun once ina while to switch off.

sound nice. but i would saget weighting for the real world mod for max payne one. thay have created a customizable character loader. maby you could see how thay did it. however is you end up have to use any there code (sometime it is just unavodable) rember to ask there permision first. TRW should be released this year maddiman said that.... but then again he says that every year

yeah, i also heard about the customizable character in TRW, imma see if I can PM him to find out what GUI he used or if he made his own.

It's probably the settings. Make sure most of them are in the high settings.

For this problem, I think you're going to have to decompile the mod and edit the text file for that. It's a bit complicated to explain though. Ask Dalte about it since I'm not 100% sure.

Dalte, while I'm all for the customisable characters, I think you should focus on the gameplay and all the main updates and release it. Then you can get feedback on what you've already done and you can work on the custom characters and kungfu pressure free instead of trying to clump everything together into one massive release while everyone rabidly harasses you for release dates and some lose interest. Hundreds of mods have been canned over the years because the makers try to put all their ideas into a single release, and I certainly do not want to see this happening with EOS because it rocks my socks.

True, true. I definitely agree with you, thats why I actually made the base for the customization but i didn't mess with any of it yet. I'm gonna bring back some things from version 1.0 like the throwing knives. Gonna add them in once I get home.

Dangit, I want to love this thing, I really do, but my computer's just not beefy enough to run it well. Curse your high detail models! (and curse me for being too poor to upgrade the 512k ram I have to work with, hehe)

I h ave already fixed all those bugs for 2.0 so don't worry about that. Also, I dont wanna add a minigun because it would be way to overkill and unnecessary. Besides, I need the space to add much cooler weapons .

Also to fix the bugs decompile the mod then look for the bravura skin and change the shader name to default. I'm not at my computer right now, but when I get home I will tell u how to fix it

There already is a cheat code for kungfu only in version 1.5
Type getCloseCombat

Um...The Ground Pound move only occurs if u are holding the crouch and jump buttons at the same time. Prefer standing still before doing it or it will probably mess up (already fixed in 2.0).

Also fixed the not gettin hit bug as well.
And last, you can do kungfu with or without guns. To use it without guns, open the console and type getCloseCombat. To use kungfu with a weapon in hand you must first run out of ammo currently in the weapon, then you reload, you can use kungfu as much as you want. As long as there are bullets in the gun, you will do a shootdodge dive instead .

On a progressive note, i have been redoing some effects, such as the weapon muzzle flashes, explosions for grenades as well as explosions for the barrels and other inlevel explosives. I have also added another way to kill. While it is quite simple to do, it is difficult to master, yet very effective when done (usually results in instant kill ). I also redid some animations, sounds and much more.

I already have support for custom player models, customized Music playing in the Main Menu, and a customizable song track list. Alot more customizable stuff to come, believe me .

I'm at cousin's house right now but later tonight I will start on getting my weapon executions working
