It's nothing new, a bunch of govt. "experts" wasting taxpayer money jabbering about a subject they don't know anything about.

The man from the interview was so old this is probably the last thing he played with.

What pisses me off so much is that I'm paying these people's salaries.

Yea, and that guy from Georgia Tech. in the video is trying to prove them wrong. And... what if I made a movie in CSS with custom afghan towel-head models from FPSbanana.com?! Would I be in contempt?! lmfao

You won't know until you try.

If you are though, give us a shout-out when they're interviewing you on 60 minutes.

Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell

Very true. Isn't that what Full Spectrum Warrior was supposed to be?

Americas Army is such a pain to play online. assuming the intelligence and level of logic from a terrorist is pretty low. they probably would shoot the CPU before they even get a chance to play it online. so i dont even know why any terrorist would want to use that game against the U.S anaways... short of reinstalling punkbuster 10 times and not getting kicked from a game 5 mins before you join. The only thing ive ever gotten from that game was lots of training, 2 kills online, and roughly 30 mins of play time, 20 of which i had to wait for the game to restart so i could join.

Anaways they made training pretty realistic, you cant even cheat on the tests if you look at another persons paper during a test you have to do it over. Although i will state the texture they used for the other players papers are useless and dont reveal any information relevant to the test you might be taking.

Battlefield 2 on the other hand i can see it being abused but honestly i dont really care. its just a game and people will continue to play it or abuse it any way they want unless someone finds a way to stop the abuse. which i highly doubt. so in summary, in short all i have to say is this planet is going to hell.

ok ... if they have Alqeda models for any game i play online ... yeah ill download them ... gotta have something to shoot at .

I honestly think that games don't teach much about war ... Its stupid, they assume that kids who play war games train themselves to be able to kill in cold blood ... i play war games and don't think twice about shooting a character in a game but in real life it is not a game ... i felt like crap when i accidently hit a cat with my car, let alone if i shot anybody ... so why would i pick up a gun after playing games to go out and "kill the american infidels" ...

at one point in time people thought TV was the spawn of satan and you could survive a nuclear bomb by taking cover under a desk ... This "blame everything evil on games" thing is just a phase ...

I wrote a 10 page paper rambling on this subject once ...
