Ghast means hand to hand combat type, as in zombies get in close following the player and attack when in range, that sort of stuff.

How do you plan to work on the characters? Will you going to give the characters weapons like freeze grenade or acid grenade? Will you going to make a story line? I am suggesting to move to character's design and weapon first. It will take a lot of time to design a story line with maps.

The story line is not that hard and does'nt take that much time to write each level. THIS mod is based on the second Resident Evil film so we just look at what was missing and write what should have happened in between the missing segments of the story. On terms of putting all of this to a map. I can't answer that one as I don't convert the outline of how the map is created based on the story for that level we write about for the game.

Actually that's a great idea!

Wow!

All movie based mods should do what you are planning.

In fact the graphic novel could be used to remind players of the parts of the movie they have already seen in between playing the new parts that happen only in your mod - genius!

Resident evil and Max payne are one of my favorite games of all time, so this mod will rock

I cant help you with any of the things, except voice acting perhaps, Good luck with the mod, I hope it becomes a succes.

We, as a team want to do as much as possible in the mod from scratch. If we do have trouble with the melee scripting then we will consider putting in the dead mod.

All the team members are newbies to game making, especially me. We are taking this project slow as we are learning each of the stages as we progress in making the game. Please, some of you stop telling us that this thread should die.

MP2 got broke IMHO somewhere in development and enemies sre coded to attack from a distance soooo clawing, biting etc is harder than MP1 to create workarounds for.

Rico system was good for small levels but breaks large levels pretty quickly again in my own humble opinion LOL

Kozak announced a better system and now 2 years later we may finally see whats possible with MP2 and Melee when Aztec releases SF2.

I hope Alan Wake isnt released first LOL but then again I am still waiting for the Chain Map 3 project because CMP2 was my favourite MP mod and got me wanting to mod myself - just sorry that most team projects have been a very disappointing experience for me so far. *whine sob sigh whine some more*

I'm sorry to hear that you have had bad experience with other projects, but I can asure you if you help us our project will not be dead. Each member of the team is taking time in creating the game mod. My job is only half way complete and I would like to put a beta version of the game mod for people to try, but we have no maps at the moment. So please help us!
