We now have our very own Teamspeak server up and running.
If you browse to these links
Click here - To find out how to install Teamspeak and get connected to the server, if you follow this guide you cannot go wrong, if you cannot get in then your not following it correctly.
And then Click here to see the status of the server and the most inmportant, the rules that are in place. Please read the rules and abide by them or you will get kicked / banned from the server. *Note - Anybody banned from the server will have their user account TUed for 1 month.
Hes the rules here JUST incase you miss them or cannot be bothered reading them
1. We do not allow "open mics". You MUST use a push to talk key at all times.
2. When on Teamspeak you must be in the proper game channel for the game you are playing.
3. Do not park yourself in the channel if you are going to be away for more than a few minutes, if you are away please move to the Away channel.
4. If you want simply to chat with friends in Teamspeak, then go to the Members Lounge channel. That is what it is for.
5. If a Teamspeak Admin deems that a user is engaged in "excessive chatter" you will be given a warning, if not heeded you will be kicked from the server, you may of course join straight back in again but the kick will serve as a warning that you were getting a bit carried away.
What is excessive chatter ?
- Shouting excessivly and repeatedly
- Commenting on the players in game and on TS repeatedly
- Talking about NON-Game related matters - goto lounge to do this
- Loud outburst of shouting, laughing or general noise.
- Swearing
6. Ghosting is prohibited (ghosting is providing information about the opponent while you are dead)
7. Use of the Teamspeak server under any name other than your assigned Nickname / Username is prohibited.
8. Do not ask for help or interrupt a player to help you with teamspeak while they are playing. if you need help then please goto the Lounge or whisper to an Server admin.
Listen to the admins that are online, all our staff have Channel admin for their specific game and will kick a user if in breach of these rules.
If you have an issue that you were kicked but dont think it was just then please contact a Network Admin here on the site or a Server admin on Teamspeak.
Please all feel free to join and play some games with the rest of the community and members.
*Note* If a Server Admin is not online, don't wory, keep an eye on the status page and join when you see one of us about, also Garner and myself will be on but with no voice today so whoever joins can get registered |

Welcome to L4Y, did you read this page HERE, it details how to join the server.
Load up teamspeak and enter in your nickaname.
The server password is - letmein
You will then be connected and then you can get registered. |

Make sure you have "Anonymous" ticked if your not registered on the TS server yet  |

You can pick up a cheap mic ir headset from a local Wal-Mart of computer store for $5-$120 depending on what you get. I'm sure you can find a nice $20 Plantronics |

yay I'm on it, boo no-one else is on, and I can't do anything until I'm registered. Just wondering, what time are you people normally on, I'm guessing you're mainly us peoples, im in uk, but whatever, YAY L4Y TS!!!! |

I'm in there now, although I'm working so not actively participating in any chat but I'll be registering people as they join until another SA turns up.
Several of us reg'd already with the server are EU based - its the weekend though so everyone is out doing their thing, people will probably start joining in a few hours. |

Personnaly I dont see the point but yes you can if you like, just remember to change your Nickname to have "- No Voice" after it before you join. |

i've used teamspeak a fair bit with my old clan so im not some ts2 noob... but im also puzzled with logging into l4y one.
I followed the tutorial step by step and done everything according to the pictures.... but keeps saying bad username and pass. Now im using my username and pass from this site (as it says to do) and still nothing
I thought it might be pass issue, so i went to l4y and changed my pass and tried again and still nothing 
After looking at this again i thought..maybe its the Ground slash in my username that is causing these issues so i made another account on l4y and tried to use that username and pass to log on and it still doesnt work...
Whats going on?
It is the username and pass from level4you.com account that i use to log into the ts2 server isnt it?

it says in the join page | Quote | | Please note that the nickname you provide must be the nickname you have on the site as a registered user. |
This says to me that I would use Genxer as my nickname, says nothing about using your password you have here on the site.
But thanks for noticing about the password not been displayed, it has now been updated. |
