Personally I see no benefit to XFire over any other IM... I had an account once apon a time... long abandoned and the client uninstalled. I'll stick with Trillian and ICQ/MSN ta very much. Makes no sense to me. It isn't annoying. Perhaps on 320x240 game res. with a xfire notify that fills the whole screen without transparency. Even if it was, it is your OWN choice to use xfire or not. L4Y has no relation with "annoying ingame messages of xifre" Actually, it is annoying to response pissed people after you come back from a game a few hours later, or sometimes finding out they are already gone. If they want something of me, then they can talk to me on xifre. Talking to everyone: Xfire connects and was done for GAMERS. We are gamers. ICQ, MSN, AIM do absolutely NOTHING for gamers. Those 3 were made for chat-girls and nothing else. Some doesn't even support away message responses. They doesn't support "join" feature, serverlists, automatic updates, stable fast data transfers, or details of the friend for example which games he prefers.
