Just a note to all gamers out there:
If you develop something, submit it here and you get everyone ever to see it, plus you get points... Take the time to take a screenshot and you get double the points?! How can you loose?  |

You should have received the staff chart via PM goober?
Although thinking about it I may still have had the 'send only to Garner I'm testing' code on there... |

Found out why... looks like a staff member has a full PM inbox. Script errored out and didn't finish sending to the staff members after that point... only 6-7 staff got the PM. Changed the script to send from the admin account... it doesn't care about someones inbox being full or not and will always deliver  |

For the record 'Aug 2006' in this case was the last 6 days of August... ie the day after the stats system initially went live. Its also a top 9 not 10 because of a little hiccup in the stats generation
Expecting users to have to score 400+ to stand a chance of getting into Septembers top 10 points scorers. |

Do we also get points for downloads? of our own files
1/4 or 1/8 points would be a good compromise..(otherwise some scores will go throught the ceilling (well not really..))
just a question/suggestion. (take it either way) |

Some files get thousands of downloads, even half points could potentially boost scores by 5,000. Plus, the downloads are very easy to do yourself. Click download, click back, click download, click back....
You could boost your own score extremely easily.
And there is also the fact that some people use different author names on their files, and where itwas a joint effort by more than one person, that would make giving out the points even more difficult. |

and each click by the same person will substract 10 points, happy now?
There are not really that many files that get so many downloads.
Example: your new file gets 40 downloads a month. If one download counts 1/8 points you get +8 points.
And scores should not be counted for all downloads of the past, of course. Only the new ones. Though..I'd be happy to get points for all my past file downloads
I doubt l4y works with 0.xx decimals points system so it'll porbably not work at all.. |

A game about beating penguins with baseball bats would be fun. Then you can get past the various levels where you kill 100 penguins and then after that you get to beat the penguin boss. To make it even better you can get bat abilities and the strongest one will be called 'bats of the round.' you know like knights of the round from ff7 cept the guys are different types of bats.
i can make this game upload it gets tons of downloads from demented animal killers around the world and ill be on top of l4y!  |

Can they be redeemed at WALMART or McDonalds?
