Allthough, this sounds like the title of a spam message (like every thing that starts off with FREE) it isn't. Surfin the web I came across this page from wikipedia. On this page I found a page called Home of the Underdogs its a page full with abandonware (old games that are free for download)
one of my favorits to kill some time must be Scorched Earth which can be found here
I'm not sure how they all work on your systems, because for some games the systems these days are a bit to powerfull, in that case maybe you have an old PC somewere to play these games.

Lost vikings. that game was fun. couldnt beat the damn candy land levels though.

Ive known about this site. ive looked for some of the games i do remember but unforunatley somehave not made it on that site and may be lost forever.
Yeah I was pretty amazed to to find Metal Gear solid too, played it alot PS1 too.

I remember playing that game on the nintendo 8-bit, when i was young although i couldn't really understand english and I had no clue what i was doing, so I'm sure i never finished that game, I might need to try that one again.
Does no one remember scorched earth, I have spend alot, and i mean ALOT of days playing that game with friends, and I even played e few games yesterday because freshly discovered it. Its fun to hear game sounds trought the PC speaker again
