Yup just download it and run it, I have it on my pc, runs fine....if it doesnt work for you you could try editing the main .exe and set the compatability mode to windows 98 or even windows 2000.

Yes, I have the original Ultimate Doom from 5diskettes installed on WinXP Pro and can play without any problems.

If you do have problems, there are alot of dos games that can be made to work using DosBox
Including Duke 3D of course! I rember playing multiplayer duke 3d inthe 6th form computer room instead of doing computer studies coursework... Back in the day

Well actually I didn't download it off the internet, because I have the real full version of duke3d, but I don't understand why it didn't work after I reinstalled it.
If it doesn't work you could try downloading a new open GL engine for it and a high res texture and music pack and totally modernize the game so it runs fine on xp. Thats what I usually do.
