Ah but you see, If you have played Half-Life before, ull find that u dont get to see Gordon Freeman at all in the game. Even thought I know what your talking about, you do get to see his arms... That will just be a simple Texture change of colour...
But I need to find out where this texture is to edit Parkers Suit. |

The mod seems really cool Spikey.
But don't change parker! Come on he's the coolest, not some palooka silent protagonist, it could just be a convient parallel universe or something (from mine scum to MIT genius lol)... Mabye change his suit orange, but keep him as Parker, not that guy that doesn't say a word.  |

When I decided to turn it into a Mod...
For the moment, The Single player levels are being concentrated on before I change anything for it to be a modification.
Got summit new for you all to see.
I went through Half-Life a few times and found that lights turn on when your in the tram going through a tunnel... So I thought "Maybe I could do that".
You'r All gonna hate me after uve seen it lol...
As you can see, the image above is a nice dark tunnel where you can pratically see nothing
Now you can see the same tunnel but with light in it.
Now for the explantion...
By having the dark tunnel the main tunnel, and have the light tunnel hiddin underneith, I made the light tunnel into a mover which will move up VERY quickly so no one can see it happening, lighing up the tunnel as you go along in the tram. The light tunnel is also split into sections so that you can have a flow of the tunnel lighting up as the tram moves.
Now who hates me? lol |

How can we hate you for the lighting, thats verry smart,i wouldnt think of that, another thing you could do with those lights on the walls make them full bright and the rest of the part of tunnel dark  |

Actually, it was possible to see Gordon Freeman in the original Half-Life.
You just had to type in this command in the console: "Chase_Active 1". Then, you could play the game in 3rd person mode  (it was a bit difficult though).

only if you wish to change the view... those who do not know how to do that will benifit from the fact that its only a game to play, not to mess about with lol.
Once I get this light up tunnel working, I will have a video to demostrate it.

In the video it looks like bad draw distance rather than lights coming on.. I would add a flicker to 1 or 2 of the tunnel sections, plus maybe a better transition between each section, as the edge between each is too "hard" at the moment.
Looks OK so far, keep up the good work |
