S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Chernobyl, has been in development for a very long time. THQ has for some time promised that the game will be ready for release in Q1 -2007, and for the first time they now have a date. The given date is March 16. The game is inspired by the book "The Roadside Picnic" by the Strugatsky brothers, the movie Stalker (1979) and the accident in Tchernobyl in 1986. You can expect an adventure-action-game with elements from RPGs and tactical games. According to the developers GSC Game World, this will reward the player with a very dynamic gameplay.
