Well, got an actual cpu brand/type?
Some branded stuff you have would help, also is it a Dell prebuilt?

Sorry to sound like I'm just going on, but would you happen to know the exact model of your Dell? You've posted good specs, but a more "in-depth" analysis would be awesome, like AGP 4x, AGP 4x/8x mobo, or PCI-Express.

And I am assuming you are selling the 19" monitor with it, so, I'm gonna guestimate around $400-$600 at the most, if you are including the external 80GB HDD, WindowsXP Home/Pro pre-installed, monitor, etc.

I'll say the monitor will add the extra $100 to the value, for the tower itself I'd say around $400-$500, with monitor I'd just up it $100.

That is just me though, you will probably get more opinions from others. But, the Intel Pentium 4 series was just an overhyped proc, the AMD Athlon scaled it on almost every task at lower clock speeds. 1GB RAM is VERY good, as is the speakers you are selling with it. And a DVD-Burner, good

Plan on selling on eBay?

hey,

The stats are okish but dont think your going to get the kind of money you are hoping for. Buying a brand new computer of same stats or better is very cheap indeed.

If ur thinking of selling it and using that money to buy a better comp than u have now i would stop trying man, maybe think of upgrading... if ur mobo lets you that is

Oh and having no OS with the comp is gonna make it just that more harder to sell as most people will expect a pre-installed OS ready to use compter.

Maybe just be kind and give it to a brother or sister or something and get a new one cause the hassle of trying to sell it and what u wil actually get for it arent really worth it man.

(What graphics card has it got man?)

I have spoken to my dad and he says it's worth about £300 - £350 max.

That's with monitor and surround sound speakers.

lol, not 6.8GHz, otherwise that would be a world record for a prebuilt.

It's a 3.4GHz dual core system consisting of 2x 1.7GHz cores. Nice setup overall, only thing I see that I don't personally like is the VIA chipset for the motherboard. But, overall good. Now you just need a good vid card
