Look Ma... its shiny!
Posted Jan 13th, 11:47pm by Garner
Well the maintenance work is pretty much over, just letting the dust settle now.

As you can see we've updated the look of the site a little - initial feedback has been positive so far - thank you!

One little thing to mention... if you're getting logged out/session expiring when going between sections that is I'm afraid a temporary side effect of what we've just done.

Nothing to worry about, it'll solve itself in the next few hours.

Changes, I don't need a stinking changes.
The site looks a lot like the other one located you know where, if it is still there.
I just checked, it's still there. <--
I do like the new look. Even though it's not really new to me.

Hey I just noticed one important thing. The "donate to L4Y" link is not longer available and the reason I did a double post!

Hmm something new that I just recognized were the random pictures of the moment lol. Thought they were the top 3 downloaded files for a second there

Actually the top downloaded files is run by a cron that got broken during the server switch... anything its doing at the moment is because it cant find the data its looking for and showing some random files instead... or nothing at all.

Wasn't there something like that on the older version of l4y? I mean the random files of the moment.

Just removed the link... even when I was visiting daily there was only ever 2 or 3 people in there. Lost interest not visited in a while, each time I checked there was no-one in there.

People asked for it, we put it up, people didn't use it, we took it down. Simple

Spambot is trash; and the person who made it is trash too!

Oh, well i guess the only good thing that came of this, that is this is a pretty good old topic. Despite that it has been defiled by a spambot, I like looking at these old pictures. Those were the good ol days for us RF'ers. It was fun while it lasted.

Also, I have a question. Is the register date in our profile the date our accounts were first created? Because I remember having to do some weird re-register process after you had upgraded the site some time ago... Also I woud love to see my first post. I probably sounded like a big CENSORED kisser. Lol

L4y has been through some rough times, but hey iv'e got no regrets. If everything didn't happen the way they did up until now. This site wouldn't be what it is today. So, thanks to Garner for putting up with us for so long. Also, the small group of people who stuck with this place from the beginning. This site is my little home away from home... Even when you people on the forum disgust me to the point where I don't visit the site for a week. rofl.
