I just hate the need for multiple windows when downloading multiple files ... with FF you don't even need a download window open.
Then there is the download status bar plugin that puts your download in a nice little status bar at the bottom of your browser window.

It surprises me that some supposedly computer-savvy people here are worried about using IE because of security issues. If you don't do anything silly, nothing is going to happen to your computer. I've always used IE and all I have to protect me are my router and Norton, yet I haven't had virus or spyware issues in years. Also, Java is something you've got to watch out for. Alot of crap gets slipped in thru Java applets. I don't even have it installed any more. I guess I'm just surprised by some of your reactions... you're the kind of people I'd expect would know how to watch out for themselves online by now.
Seems to me there's no real point to this post I guess, but is there ever? I'm not trying to hurt anybody's feelings or anything.
Well , Its probably the first time I actually have to agree with NCF , there is nothing wrong at all with IE! , this maybe be because we are old school ? Ive tried the rest ( FF, Opera ,blah blah) IE works all the time with ease! That my 2 cents worth anyway, we don't wanna make this thread a SPAM Thread now do we?
P.S All spelling edited by Google spell check on IE ..........

If I need to download a rather large file, I use Opera for the Download manager. Otherwise, it's IE7 all the way!
