I saw a thread on here about someone wanting the Zig level for RF... I have it.... its also called DM 11 0r Dm18 or levelseb or Watch You Step , To make this non spam , PM me or use this LINK hope this helps

That map is already hosted here... since November 2002.

Wasn't there another lost map that was a promotion? I think I read about one somewhere. I think it was called Long Way Down. Edit: here is the info on it. |

Long Way Down: Set high above the surface of Mars in an abandoned industrial complex, "Long Way Down" is an open air deathmatch level where you have to watch more than your back. One wrong step and they'll be scrapping you off the surface of Mars. The facility has seen better days so don't be surprised if the walls come tumbling down after a few well placed rockets.

You are being too hard on yourself. You were just trying to help. A lot of the current players probably haven't ever play them, so it's good to get the word out. I mean look at the amount of downloads the files have. If more people knew about them the number would of been higher. When the files were posted here, I do remember making a news post about it.
It's funny. My version didn't come with those two levels but in a 1.10 update file I had, it contain them. Not realizing what I had, I deleted it. The 1.10 update file I have doesn't have it. I was ignorant. I just figured I would just download it again. I believe I downloaded it from that other Red Faction site which I can't remember the name of but I do remember it started with a C.

Biggest problem with source engine would be that it uses BSP level architecture and worhships the legacy of quake which is levelsize limit +-(2^31)^3 = 7.922816251*10^28 cubic units 
And as far as I know Red Faction don't have similar restriction, and I am not familiar with UT04 engine but I would say that neither it has such restriction.
And what comes to GEO-MOD HL engine would not handle it properly on exterior walls. |
