ALL the Mp3 players that I have ever owned are made by creative Labs. The latest one that I bought was this Zen Touch 40g. Now they'd updated their Zen and NOW it has a color screen AND it has FM radio.
I have all my music on it and have never had it break down on me. I've had it for nearly 2 years now. I do feel like upgrading to the color Zen for three reasons:
1. I can download and watch videos on it.
2. Built in FM receiver that can come in handy for listening to music that you might not own yet.
Did I mention that you can even record either voice or directly from the built in radio receiver. I love the sound of my voice.
3. Getting tired of a co-worker showing off the album covers on his 30G color IPOD.
Woo creative . I got the 30gb Creative Zen Vision:M for Christmas. I haven't had any problems with it yet. It's quite solid. I could step on it and throw it and it probably wouldn't break. It has a pretty long batter life, a nice looking screen, compatible with the most common movie formats like wmv, mpg, compressed avi's like divx and xvid (haven't tried uncompressed avi yet though), so any movie I d/l off the Internet I can pretty much just drag and drop onto it. It supports common music formats like wma, wav, and mp3, so any music I d/l or rip from Cd's I can just drop onto it. It has the radio and recorder like frank was saying. There's a wide range of ways to copy stuff to it. Once you install drivers windows will recognize it and you can just open it up like you would a hdd and drag or paste stuff to it or you can use a program that comes with it to organize and add and stuff or you can use windows media player. I really have no complaints.
