I have to say, i dont appricate you implying that i am "close-minded". All i said was that the Ps3 is doing nothing for gaming industry, which its not. I challange you to prove one thing that the Ps3 has over the PC.
Oh, and dont give me that "too many buttons" crap... you just dont know how to use them. |

In all honesty I believe none of you actually care about the gaming industry as a whole, and how newer systems are contributing to it. All you really care about is when the next sequel to your favorite game is coming out. Don't lie, you know its true. |

Any consoles dont have to pay for Internet, you need to pay for an Internet connection even for the PS3 though.
XBox requires internet for XBox live, but not for internet compatibility.
Motion Sensing on the PS3 is a joke. It doesnt do hardly anything. The Wii's motion sensing is revolutionary, the PS3's is just the same old stuff we've already had for a long time.
HDDVD is the next step in disc technology, BluRay is Sony's alternative. I havent gotten a chance to use either, so i dont have an opionion on it, but based on the specs and price comparisons, HDDVD will take over BluRay as fast as DvD/Flash Memory took over UMD.
I have not changed my views one bit, because most (if not everything) youve presented in your "Fight for the PS3" Rampage have been either a lie, or irrelivant.
Present something descent and i'm all ears, present the same old "fanboy-ish" comments and ill continue to fight back. |

Again, youre not taking price, useful-ness (is that a word) and other factors into consideration. Sure the PS3 has more processing power right now, but it also had a year more than the 360 to be developed. The Wii isnt even in this category as it isnt made to have great procesing power, its made to be fun. Shouldnt fun and good gameplay be what we are looking for in a console? The PS3 is just the same old ps2 stuff with a little better video effects and more processing power - for an extra $700... |

PS3 is a good machine, yes.
But is the price worth it? not IMO
Does it have the franchises? its got a couple okay ones.
Do i care whats inside? not in a console.
Do i need blu-ray? No, I am happy with DVD quality. |

I'm not flaming anyone, im mearly stating facts.
By the way, all of those features (except bluray, which is completly useless when we've got HDDVD) have already been released prior to the Ps3... which backs up my previous statement which said that Sony is bringing nothing new to the gaming industry. |

Ive never owned a PS2, but uh, I know for sure Ive seen USB inputs on the PS2....
Anyways, Dont care for PS3, wont care for it. XBOX 360 is better in my opinion.
4 controllers is plenty for one tv. 7? CENSORED . No need for that many. You need either a projector or a 50" tv to use that many...
Grapics are awesome depending on the game's engine that you are playing (Unreal Engine 3 and Halo 3 engine baby!) Sure Resistance and FF have great graphics; but thats because of their graphics engine, not the PS3's hardware. You can get better graphics on a PC and 360 (unreal engine perfect example). |

It has given Bill Gates an other market to completely control, alltho I must admit its the best console in stores ATM.
We only have to wait for Bill Gates to take over some more markets just wait for the:
- PXBX (Portable XboX) to beat the PSP with sells
- Mphone (the microsoft phone) gonna beat sony, nokia, iphone and all other phone brands
- MVision (Television trough the internet in HD quality on your Microsoft television)
only a couple of years and Bill Gates will own everything in the electronics business. |

If I want a fun, entertaining and open gaming experience I'll go play my Wii. If I want the best visuals and kick CENSORED hardware I'll go play on my PC. Now, where does the PS3 fit in exactly? Oh right, nowhere. The problem is it's trying to be a PC... but PC's do it better, so there's no reason to spend $500 USD on hardware that would be fairly cheaper for a PC. Blu-Ray, you say? Don't need it. Before DvD's games were starting to come on three to four CD's. Today it's rare to see a game require 2 DvD's. Besides, there are better options for storage. Hard drives are very, very cheap. For $80 I can get a 250-500GB hard drive... or I could get a Blu-Ray burner for a couple thousand dollars. I'll stick with the hard drive, thanks.  |
