My thoughts... ... ...
I think that IF computer games make you want to kill others in real life, you must really suck in computer games. Also, it also means you spend way way too much time in front of the monitor, instead you should be in a padded room that is monitored.
Crazy as that sounds, those are my thoughts. |

I have only one outlook on this. I don't believe that that kid should have been punished to that severity, getting high school taken away like that, and also graduation. In my opinion, that's BS. I understand how people are reacting after the columbine and Virginia Tech; that kid SHOULD have been investigated and mentally evaluated, but that should have been the extent of it. Hell, for all that it matters, what if anyone in the RF community made a map based on their school, or their/someone else's house, should they be investigated? That's the question. Like I said before, that kid should have been investigated/evaluated, only because some parents were concerned because how would that make the FBISC look if they took NO action whatsoever? Very bad, BUT, I believe it's ridiculous to take that harsh of actions. Any who, that is sensei KILLER's opinion, thanks for reading!

I wish i could get investigated for mapping a building
Once they start their investigation ... they would see that i don't have a criminal record, i don't own any weapons (not even a pocked knife ) and i don't have a history of violence ...
I am tired of gamers being labeled as secluded, weapon-owning, law breaking, violent people ...
I personally haven't met a single gamer yet that i think has gone could go beyond the edge of obvious logical reason and sanity to the point where they would go out and kill somebody on purpose .
I find it kinda offensive ... calling video gamers violent is no better than racial slurrs or stereotypes ...
I think im going to start an activist group |

This is a topic that comes up fairly regularly.
Some people are more susceptible to suggestion than others. If someone has an existing mental illness, and a certain percentage of the population does, then that often makes them all the more susceptible.
A friend of mine suffers from a medical condition that prevents their body from taking in certain vitamins necessary for normal brain function. A few years back she became addicted to a computer game and actually starting thinking she was one of the characters. I am not joking either. She wouldn't leave the computer and became badly dehydrated and nearly died. This is a severe case but not the only one by a long shot.
If all you do is sit in front of the screen all day and night, then you have a problem.
If you'd rather be in the game than in your own life, then you have a problem.
Get outside in the sunlight. Eat well. Play sport. Hit on attractive women. Play computer games in moderation. Then all will be well.

Quoting Kiliad | If you'd rather be in the game than in your own life, then you have a problem. | What about those people that play Sims, and Sims2?
Videogames arent going anywhere... Cept on the store shelves, then onto HDDs, then mabye into CD/DVD burners. Well, Even if they did ban videogames, everyone would sell them illegally anaways. Besides, if videogames is banned it will create a whole lot of pissed off people who want to have their games back. I probably dont have to tell you how far alot of people would go to get them back too...

Ive made RF maps of my school, my father's workplace, a nearby mall and other locations around here. And im acually thinking of making a CSS map of my school. It would be a great map.
Good thing that Canadian officals arent as parinoid and downright stupid as american officals.
I mean common! The kid shows his creativity and creates a level of one of his favorite places and he gets labeled a terrorist?!
What is the world comming to?
Has anyone ever heard of a lpittle concept called Freedom of Speech? I think this falls under the "Freedom of art and creativity" category. What this kid did shows that he has skills, and that he could go far... but no! Insted he gets labeled a terrorist by some idiots who cant tell fun from death?!
I better stop now, im getting really pissed at this censored school board... |

lol Don't blow an anger glan there goober .
But your right.
I think the offical's are starting to get a little bit over the top about these Incident.
It is just an over reaction to the tragic Incident in Viginia. They are taking no more chance's with Innocent people being killed so they look for those who are slightly strange and different to the rest of the school.
To be honest, I cannot see Counter Strike Source being a game to cause people to change to a terrorist. Its not exactly a simulated tatical army trainer, but however, I do know one that is... http://www.americasarmy.com.
I think they might want to take that off the internet because that, girls and boys, is the real deal of a simulator created by the Army's goverment them self's!
Not that I have anything against violent games, its the fact that the officals believe he could be because he had swords in his room, without realising that the game he plays on is not a type of game to cause people to train to be a terrorist or Counter Terrorist.
There are no swords on Counter Strike Source.... Just a Combat Knife that is given to you at the start of every round and cannot be dropped.
I think the officals should look into this game a little and notice that it is not a bad game. |

Just because some people chose to go mental and share something in common with us should mean we all get labeled as bad, though it happens anyways. I suspect he also wore shoes, so now I'm going to believe all who wear shoes have murderous intent as well; and I will defend myself if need be.. |
