It seems the THQ Master Server is Down again... Is there any alternative Solution to play? Because the Favourites seem to be Down too. |

I believe there's a favorites list floating around L4Y somewhere... I just checked myself and I seem to be able to connect just fine. Perhaps you should try again.  |

I believe you can join servers via IP address just by adding a server IP, but that will only be organised with your friends im afraid... If there is a server hosted with a website and has a game tracking system, you can obtain the IP address from that to join. |

The Tracker works for me.
Perhaps your DNS isn't working right:
1. in the RF launcher, try the Tracker's IP of 208.49.84.217 instead of rf.thqmultiplay.net
2. if that doesn't work, try using Mr.Hz's backup tracker by using redfactionnet.com instead of rf.thqmultiplay.net |

So the Tracker is NOT down.. intresting... been trying all day to connect... and it did not work... and my favourites are N/R. Yesterday everything was fine... my internet runns normally no changes... so what could be the reason then? If eveything is alright  |

Move your favlist.adr and svrlist.adr files out of the game folder, start up the game and let the game rebuild those files fresh. Perhaps they are corrupted. |

AAAAlright, Thank you very much.... well heh, im feeling kinda dumb now, well the solution is.... Yesterday i installed Lazy Ban 3.0. Everything was running fine... but today, when i started rf, nothing... So starting it with Lazy Ban 3.0 caused the troubles. Just checked with normal rf launcher and there was no issue...  DAMN |

Well we know theres nothing wrong with his DNS settings, he can surf the internet. Without the DNS IP address, he can't get on any website at all.
Erm, hmmm what to suggest to fix this... Have you updated Red Faction to either 1.2 or 1.3?

Starting RF with Lazy Ban 3.0(which i downloaded and tested yesterday) was the reason.  I dont know why, but yesterday it worked fine... but today i thought the tracker went down or something, so i did not try to run it the normal way... till a few min. ago... well... any EXPLENATIONS for it |
