Posted Jan 16th, 04:40am by Sorrow Quote I just found a program that's like a big mod for some of the old id fps games (I've only tested it for doom so far though), it gives Doom 2, Ultimate doom, Final doom, Hexen and Heritic a bit new look and in the start menu there's a multiplayer option and you can join a game or host 1 and, it can have up to 16 players. There's a bunch of other new stuff and a new launch button that gives you tons more options to choose from before launching the game, and theres a master server to see how many multi games there are going on. I checked and there was a whole 3 servers, 1 was empty and the other 2 each had 2 ppl playin.... also it lets u set the resolution to as high as 1600x1200 to make Doom loke better. Post 0 / 1 Yeah that's good old jDoom. It's been out for a while now. Don't forget to grab all the new high-rez textures from http://switch.to/doom2textures/. My clan ALWAYS starts up a jDoom co-op server at every LAN we go to. People always come by and say "Whoa that's Doom? I want that mod!" <Ancient Mapper>You need to have Doom/Doom2 already. Shouldn't be hard to get yourself a copy.
