Well Ive noticed L4Y has been grown to now almost 7,000 users which increases alot everyday. Of 6,854 (at the time of this), 15 had even registered today, and 19 new registered yesterday. With an ever growing community EVERY day, L4Y might become the most popular site on the web. Cheers! |

No, take a look at SlashDot or the GameSpy popularity.
Undoubtably it is the best Red Faction community on the "web".
Its silent here compared to bigger forums out there... |

I completely desagree. If more than 100 members were active in the forums, they would become too much to cope with. I personally wouldn't bother ever checking anything but my own threads under such conditions... |

I doubt that the site will become the most popular there are forums out there wit about 10-20 000 members so wel need about 100 000 to be most popular and i agree with mike about the members thing |

7000. like that matters... I dont care how many people register to be honest. I'd rather have active people than people who register and never come back
March 2004 is the first full month the unique user tracker has been active in Unified. We should know in a few days just how many different IP addresses have visited the site since March 1st, it'll give a rough indication of how many people have visited |

Watch those log files again.
You don't want the server filling up with 30gb of logs again, heh. |

That was Apache logging anything and everything about every request, not Unified |

You both are right. If every user participates, it would be a confusing mess but pointing out the number of users hasn't much meanings (except maybe if you want to sell advertising space). Some people once came here, subscrived and never came back. Some people regularly come and never become members.

Knowing how many people loaded a L4U page is more interesting.
