Yeah right and yeah right. As if anyone will take any notice. We need a RED forum. |
If I ever get to where I am going, will I know when I am there? |

You should make it so it MAKES them use the feature, such as when they click new topic, have it take them to a page that asks wether or not its about editing, then to another page that asks the game topic.. then to the page where you can type in your question... Just a thought Probably too annoying to endure for every new topic though |

Nah to much work expecially for 56kers and lower, instead when they goto start the topic, above the topic title, a drop down menu that lists the game that the topic is for, that way the site automatically put the abrv before the title when they click the Create Topic button

Not that I think the tag idea is bad. Not at all...
If I may state my humble opinion, what really buggs me about this site is that any 200 Mb demo/movie/animation/program an admin can lay his/her hands on is uploaded without hesitation, yet 200 KB of script space can't be spared in favor of some more decent forums.
Forums are the heart of the site. Without them, this site is just another file mirror. Some more focus on them wouldn't hurt... |

Nothing, but when people want help on their game, the topic title usually says "HEEEELLLPPPP!!!"
if it were to say "[UT2K4]HEEEELLLPPPP!!!", people would know what it's about |

The trouble isn't the space... we've got loads of space left... its the time needed to implement something like this.
Sure it may sound simple and in theory it is but in practice its a lot more work than it sounds.
Anyone around me knows that I have lots of things to do, some important admin functions dont always work properly for example but I dont have the time to fix them... |
