Oh, i also have a few ideas for a space based mod ... i have a couple of futuristic weapon designs that i think would blow people away ... problem is that futuristic mods are overplayed ...

If the weapons are sufficiently original, or at least well done, it will not matter how many times it has been done before. Quality will beat out originality, though originality is always a plus. If you think that it would be worth the time and effort, i.e. you can make your concept as good as you think you can, then go for it.

well, the deal ive always noticed is that people seem to let their imaginations get carried away when making new weapons ... by the time they are done they end up with some weird alien-like weapon that doesn't resemble anything ever made, nor does it handle like one ... and it just seems awkward to use in-game

well, the washer is a mesh i imported ... i wanted to check the size to see if it was right ... but it was off as you can see
