We are currently looking for new staff members to help run some of the current sections as well as 2 new ones.
Positions available:
Star Trek Online
Stargate Worlds
Half-life 2
Supreme Commander
Max Payne 1 & 2
Gears of War
Soldier of Fortune 3
Staff members can be called on to do a variety of duties, such as review checking, forum moderation and file uploads. It is recommended that you have a Broadband connection if you are going to handle the files.
Overall, you will be required to do your duty to the best of your capabilities and act in a mature manner on the forums.
If you are interested and can devote some of your time to the site then please PM me. |

One last thing:
Do NOT bother to PM me if you are under 15 years old. If you are 15, your odds are still rather low as staff are supposed to be 16 or over.

Sort of ... lol ... i found a wallpaper on the Bioshock official site that had their logo on it ... then i just used my mediocre image editing skills to make a logo suitible for the site ... |

they may already have ...
... the admins like to pick people who have been on the site for a while because they want to get an idea of how responsible you are and to make sure that they will stick around and not just ditch or abuse their powers  ...
take for example scottay007, no offense but we know almost nothing about you ... you just joined about 2 months since your last post and you only have 2 posts ... you're most likely not going to get a staff position ... but if you post a little more often, and maybe in a few months the admins will think that you are responsible and dedicated enough to become staff
if you are ticked that you didn't get a staff position just stick around a enjoy L4Y ... in a few months there will probably be another recruitment thread and maybe they will feel differently ... being a staff member isn't as glorious as it seems anyway  |

Being staff is just like volunteer work. You have to do what the higher-ups say, you don't get paid, and you don't get the absolute power you'd expect. |

I think that pretty much sums it up there in one sentance 
There is a 'command structure' to the staff purely so we dont descend into chaos in trying to keep the place updated, I'd love to see the site grow to the size where it would be able to support salaries... but it could barely keep a fly alive right now let alone me and finally only I get the absolute power. Its mine... all mine. Muwhwhahahaha.
Seriously though, being staff is a great way of getting known in a community and helping out. We try and have a bit of a laugh when able as well.
Oh and if you help out enough you get L4YGold for free... |
