I read the above article when word of Gmail first came out, and call me paranoid, but it made alot of scence. Especially when you live under the watchful eye of the Bush Administration. Scary stuff.
They have to have some way to pay the server charges for a whole GB.
I just don't like it.

I feel no need to change my email... I'd call it well enough known that just about everyone knows it (well over 400 people I would guess)... rather than sending out 400 emails saying I'm changing accts I would much rather just stick with the Hotmail one, irregardless IF gmail is better.

*Sigh* No, but if you were to actually read the article, it might make scence. Becasue of this little thing called "The Patriot Act", our 'good buddy' John Ashcroft down at the justice department could easily purge and search any of those email to look for 'terrorist activiy'.
Note:I havent personally tried gmail, but in the article it suggested that it would have a search feature to look for old emails quickly.
