It looks amazing although I doubt my PC will run it, I think there's a PC demo coming out in the next few days. |

After doom 3, every other horror game looks like a disney weekend special. |

CHECK THIS OUT!
http://www.gametrailers.com/player/23465.html
I didn't know anything about Bioshock before, I was sceptic in the first seconds but the trailer shows that this game is different.
Sure..it's not that different, Dark Messiah Might and Magic is pretty much the same, but MEssiah is with worse graphics and no guns.
Too much for my system, though. And probably I'd prefer Jericho over it.
Jericho has a story and wicked weapons and awesome enemies.

You can pre-order this on steam.
I'm gonna wait till I upgrade before I even attempt playing it, my PC is getting a bit long in the tooth. |

Blah............... i,m waiting for the new Intel Core 2 Quad to come out so the Core 2 Duo chips can get another price drop.Btw BioShock runs on a Vengeance engine 2.5 with some bits from Unreal Engine 3 and judging from the previews the AI and the moral decisions you have to take or kinda refreshing in this age of FPS that is more like you no..........sterile. |

Played the demo on XBOX Live, liked it.
Went to the PX to check out some HD Component Cables for a Korean I work with, saw they had BioShock on shelves three days before the states, oh yeah baby. Another benefit of US Mil, everything before everyone else XD |

PC demo's been released. If you have a Steam account browse for it on the Store page.
Edit: I just finished the demo and I must say I'm impressed. Not only is it exciting and action-packed, it has a physics system that (from what I've seen) has the potential to surpass Havok; though, I'm not too surprised, as it is Unreal Engine 3 we're dealing with. Worth the 1,800MB download... assuming you're not on dial-up. |

BioShock uses the Havok engine in the game |

Does it now? I thought Epic would stick with Karma in the new engine. I haven't read into it (obviously), I just assumed they'd stick with what they new. Guess not. |

No, its not used in the Unreal Engine. 2K devs used the Havok engine alongside Unreal Engine. |
