U kno about data sniffing right ? ( i hope so ) ..

I have an idea. U set up RF server , ( locked ) , u ask some
players ( trusted ones ) to come in ur server and use any mod
tool what ever . Than u could catch the data that was sended and
recieved by client right ?? Than there must be some way to hold
that data before u enter RF server if the server tool has detected
the data.

Meaby i am stupid lol ..

This requires EXTREMELY complicated code and VERY in-depth knowledge of the RF protocol, something which very few people have these days.

Very true, and is not always legal to do so, since many game protocols fall under copyrights etc...

Second the way you said is not most convinient to spot cheating applications, since there there is hardly applications available that sniff network traffic data in real time most applications do record data and write to hard disk and you can analyze data exchanged, but that reaquires a lot of computing skills to find what you want.

What I have seen to be easiest way to spot cheaters is so called data comparison tools that check data that are on client side, and send checksums to server and if it is valid, player can enter or stay on server. Also another way to find cheaters is so called memory guards, who looks that there is no applications interfering with memoryspace that game uses... this is how most of trainers tend to work...

So I say this in rather cold way. I do not need would be masters of computer science to tell me what to do, since I got real life friends that help me out in that, and I am eager to learn my self than just relaying on others...

Quoted <>TXT <>Above .. Sorry forgot the tags.. But read..

Thats what i mean .. I looked arround olso found out it can be done . ( i quoted like David ) But this is actually what i maen ( my gramattic fail i kno ) . Some how there must be some
way to confirm data right ?? . I realy hope , or what ever .. Some day any cheater in RF can
be catched by DATA , and not by Rcon acces bla bla.. Actually the cheater should not even
acces any server in RF .

I kno long story again from me .. sorry for that but jees .. If we could turn back old days RF .

My serverside tool can already detect ghost, flying, super jump, and myth/any other infinite ammo trainer people have made. The only issue currently is that flying/super jump detection has to be configured on a map to map basis (ghost and myth don't need any configuration). The configuration only requires a player to run around the map once though.

The clientside one will do much more, but the server one should greatly help people out in pubs for now
