Last poll there were 692 votes. 75 voted less than a week ago, 41 voted more than a week ago, 133 voted more than a month ago, 105 voted 6 months ago, 128 voted last year, 126 voted 2 years ago, 40 voted 5 years ago and 44 voted I don't have a computer.

I just upgraded my case and monitor with new stickers from my local skateshop(BLUETILE).
and all m&m's taste the freekin same no matter what color!  |

Actually I prefer Blue Almond M&Ms.
But good point.
I still think Blue M&Ms taste better, maybe it's all in the mind but it's my mind and there is no way you guys will ever find it. |

There should be a submit poll idea link. I'm sure we could come up with more intriguing polls than this.
The next poll should be "how often do you smoke marijuana?" That would be something interesting to know about the demographics here. Of course there would be a "NEVER" option for the squares.  |

The tongue is merely a receptor of chemical messages. It is the brain which translates those messages into pleasant or unpleasant sensations which we understand as taste.
Sight is no different. Its just images received as electrical signals by that very same lump of neurons. As a result its quite possible for someone to experience different tastes according to the color of the food they eat. Imagination also has a bearing on it.
If you really concentrate hard you can alter the taste of food you're eating. You can even trigger taste sensations without actually eating anything. Its easier to do that with your sense of smell though. That really helps when you're travelling in a small car with someone who is flatulent.
Ahhh that's a bed of roses I can smell and not a spicey zonk. |

You can also do this quite well just using your tongue. This works with orange drink*. Get a glass of orange drink, and pour the liquid specifically on different parts of the tongue, a different taste each time.
(course, I'm a smoker, so it's a bit less extreme now)
*: note that I said "orange drink" not "orange juice" or "orange flavored soda", which are different things and don't work nearly as well. The crappy orange drink at McDonald's usually works best |

I personally believe the difference is psychological. My favorite color is Red, hence the Red M&M's taste better to me.
As for the people that think this poll was stupid, you certainly did get your share of posts in on the topic...SPAMMERS!!.  |
