Does anybody know how? My new computer (which is cool) comes with a dvd writer and all that. It also came with nero dvd burner for free. I also got ashampoo dvd burner. But even after all this i still cant manage to put some movies on a dvd cd. so a couple questions.

1. How do I convert AVI files to... WMA or other dvd formats.
2. Whats the best program out there to burn dvds.
3. It's not illegal is it? I'm not gonna sell the dvd's btw

1. You need to find some video editing software to convert formats, which usually isn't free.

2. There is no 'best program.' Like many other things, its a matter of preference. Windows XP and up will burn CDs/DvDs if you really need it to.

3. The actual burning of a movie you own isn't illegal, so long as its for your private use only. Obtaining movies from the internet, however, is illegal.

Whats so illegal about it ? he made a video about himself singing in the shower. and he wants to show his friends. nothing ilegal about that

Sounds like he wants to duplicate copy written DVDs, which is illegal.
